Premium 1/8 th Inch Thick Acrylic Plexiglass Sheet (Clear, 6" x 8")

The product arrived with protective coverings on both sides of the object, ensuring it arrived scratch-free. This is great for what it is. I wish there were more sizes. For example: 4x4 or 6x10.

I have used the clear 1/8" for making quilting templates for my wife and have generally had fairly good results. But cutting a right triangle out of this 12x12 sheet did not work. The 45 degree corners did not break cleanly even after about 25 scores with a professional scoring knife against a clamped piece of metal to make sure the cut was clean. The first failed piece almost ruined the whole sheet. I was doing the breaking between two pieces of clamped hard material on both sides so there was no where else for it to break, but it did. Then using the opposite corner to get a 9" hypotenuse, also broke on the 45" corners even after more scoring. Fortunately I have a Bondic Repair kit and could weld some plastic onto the broken corner and then sand it down to get the 45 degree corner back made out of Bondic. So I will not be using this White for templates. I should also mention that one of the original sides was not smooth. I'm not sure how they cut the pieces at the factory, but this piece had conchoidal fractures along the edge where it had apparently been broken. It was not smooth to begin with and I had to sand down the original edge. I have been doing this for a long time and this is not a good product for making smaller templates.

Works as expected. Free from Blemishes

Zero stars for obvious reasons. One side, where it was cut to size, was rough and crumbly. And, get this, it isn't truly 6x8. Close, but a few mm off. I needed a clean, crisp 6x8 sheet of acrylic and this product completely failed.

Worked fine

I have bought acrylic and polycarbonate sheets multiple times (most do not claim to be "premium") and this is the first I've received a piece with rough jagged edges (on one side). That does not work for my purposes. It looks like a DIY cut instead of a professional/factory cut.
