Just put an LED in it and slap "Gaming" branding on it.
It's a decent DAC and the presets are fine but there's a real lack of understanding of the audience that they're supposedly marketing this to.It has 2 inputs, Audio and Mic jack - pretty standard. As a gamer, you'll probably using a gaming headset. The vast majority of these are USB. The ones that aren't are typically a dual audio/mic on a single jack that plug into a sound card, usually included with the headset. And as far as standalone microphones go for the budding streamer/content creator, they're basically all USB these days; it just makes sense - digital content for a digital era. So the inputs themselves are useless; you'll utilise one at best for speaker input and essentially get no use out of the mic input as they're all USB or combined on the audio jack. It supports basically nothing a modern "gamer" would use in terms of hardware, and I get it, it would be relatively pointless to have USB inputs to a soundcard like this. But, it just proves the lack of awareness for the target audience and is just another piece of rubbish with no USP, so they stick some LEDs on it, give it a couple of colourways and say it's "gaming".I'd like to think somebody in the broad spectrum of what could be a "gaming" or PC "power-user" could find use out of this, but it's just not fit for purpose anyone. Casual gamer, upcoming streamer, podcast creator, music producer, game developer, pro gamer. Just so many better options.

Do Not Buy the Sennheiser GSX 300
I do not recommend buying the GSX 300 until Sennheiser sort the mic and speaker levels out. On 100% the mic levels are very low. You can hardly see them on Audacity. The speakers are also very quiet. You will need to run them at 100% all the time. In summary, do not buy this item.
