NRS Kinetic Water Shoes

I have been looking for a kayaking shoe that I could wear driving to and from the launch location, hike trails, walk the beach, was comfortable and didn’t move around on my feet. I have tried several inexpensive shoes, but they just didn’t work all that well out of the kayak. Enter the NRS Kinetic!These shoes are great for tight kayaks, or even to feel more in touch with your SUP board. Neoprene is excellent for colder waters, but I have had no issues with them in 85-degree oceans. These offer superior protection yet very flexible. The upper and insole are constructed with 3 mm Terraprene neoprene with titanium from heel to toe. The 1.5 mm textured rubber sole doesn’t add any bulk, yet still protects your feet both in and out of your yak.The toe box is naturally shaped and provides a roomy, non-binding fit. Stretchy rubber bands improve lateral stability and help hold the shoe to your foot. There is a shoe-top drawcord that keeps your foot snug and secure. Armor patches guard the upper against abrasions and add even more protection for your foot.

These shoes look good and are super comfortable. I have a wide forefoot and often have trouble with pinched toes. These do not pinch in any way. I wore them around the house because there's snow on the ground right now. They were super comfy even after a few hours. I like the way the ankle opening is adjustable. I think they run true to size. I thought they ran small after reading reviews so I went up a size (I wear a half size). But they are slightly big and I wonder if the half size lower would have worked better. In any case, I won't return them because they will work for me and I"m super pleased with the high quality. I plan to use them for windsurfing and beach walking.

The sole is sufficiently thick to carry your SUP over a rocky beach without wincing on every pointy rock or shell. I think they'll protect better than my Merrel vibram water shoes, and are far better than my old O'Neill toe booties for the rocky beach walk. At first glance they seem warmer than the O'Neill's in the water. They warm up super fast, so these will be my goto for cold days. The Vibram's will be reserved for when it's hot enough that my feet don't get cold standing on the board.

I ordered a MEN's Size 10 (women's 11) because I wear waterproof socks with them and my women's size 10 were tight. When they arrived they fit like a WOMEM's 10. Size up if you plan to wear water proof socks

These are so comfortable to wear! They are the best water shoes I’ve ever purchased! Definitely worth the money because the value is there. I take these everywhere on vacation. It protects your feet while also been comfortable to wear and waterproof! Great for using to scuba dive or snorkel and also easy to walk and hike in! Would highly recommended!!

BEWARE - Seller is terrible! The shoes are great. I needed to exchange for a different size. The company, OUTDOORPLAY DOES NOT DO EXCHANGES. They only do RETURNS. For a return, THEY CHARGE YOU A re-stocking fee of 10% of VALUE AND Make you pay shipping for returns. So, for a $52 pair of shoes, I had to pay 10% ($5.20) PLUS shipping ($12.72) to return (even though I wanted to exchange!! That is I am OUT $18 or 35% of the cost of the shoe, just to RETURN! IT IS NOT WORTH THE COST TO EVEN TRY BUYING HERE!!!! Not to mention the gas and parking I used to get to the postoffice.

I love that the Sole wraps around like your toes so when you’re walking through rivers your toes, nothing is jeopardize everything is completely protected your feet stay nice and warm even if you’re an ice cold water, wet suit material so feet aren’t experiencing the elements as much as mesh shoes Excellent would recommend I’ve had a lot of water shoes in these are by far my best. Great quality.

I like the fit, warmth and protection. They are comfortable even in the summer. I use the Kinetic water shoes for kayaking. Unfortunately, since they are low cut, they do not keep the sand out. (I wear the Desperado when I know I will be in sandy areas.) I wear a women’s size 8 shoe/sneaker and also wear a size 8 Kinetic. I tried ordering a size smaller as directed for women and had to return them. I like these water shoes a lot.
