Tools 00 20 01 V17 Chrome Pliers Set

A little pricey but the old saying of you get what you pay for is very true with this set. I work property maintenance and these pliers have taken a beating and look no worse for wear. I've put them through HVAC, plumbing, rebar tying and cut spring steel, nails, screws and everything in between and they have held up amazing with no deformation or rolling to cutting edges or traction teeth in the pliers. I genuinely don't see myself ever needing to get another set of pliers in my lifetime thanks to the pure quality of these pliers here. Great tool and I would definitely recommend this set to any professional blue collar tradesmen.

Other reviews stated they saw rust on their sets; I however noticed the brown assembly lube at the joints that secrete when you actuate the handles. The fit and finish are the exact same as my other knipex tools. Tight joints and the plastic handle sheaths do not slip or rotate on the handles. Should easily last a life time. Great quality for the money.

Y’all - these pliers come full of lubricant. You will see squeeze out around the machined edges the first few uses.It the choice of brown for a lubricant color… yes it’s hilarious, but it’s NOT rust in several of these reviews.And yes, they’re fantastic tools

Best plies period

The Cobras and overall build quality is pretty good, which would be expected from expensive Knipex pliers, but I was disappointed to see the pliers came new with stiffness and rust on them as well as some nicks in the joint of the pliers and cutters. I won’t be sending them back or anything just because I don’t want to deal with the hassel of waiting around, but NEW tools should generally come rust free I would think
