Cloud-9 Cruiser Anatomic Saddle

This replacement seat for our old Schwinn exercise bike lived up to it's name (like being on Cloud...) and was a serious upgrade from the gel cover. As a bonus it relieved my wife's back pain during nightly spins.

I've only had this seat for a few days so I won't say anything about durability but having ridden it every day since I've gotten it I will make some quick remarks. Assembly: Make sure, just like with anything, that this seat is screwed in tight. I didn't screw the bottem tight enough and it swiveled up and down. Once I realyl screwed it tight into place, which took some effort on my part cuz i'm not the strongest person in the world, I got the seeat to the angle I wanted and it hasn't moved since. Size: It is a very wide seat which is great. I'm 5'7'' and 170 pounds, and I have a big butt from 15 years of Karate so I needed the extra space. I sit comfortably back on the seat and the skinny end is actually a little smaller and stouter than it seems in the product picture so it doesn't rub my inner thighs at all. I have ridden it for 10 miles at a time and have had no problems with having to shift my weight or anything like that because of size so I'm very pleased with that. Softness/Comfort: The size is great but the softness is a little iffy. If you want super soft, this is not the seat for you. Other reviews have said similar things and I absolutly agree. Although the gel isn't rock hard or anything like that, it simply doesn't feel like a "cloud". This is the only problem I have with the seat, but even then its not that big of a deal. The softness does become a small issue if your going on longer rides but it also depends on how you're sitting on the seat to maximize your own comfort. Part of the issue is that the material is a little slippery so you slide a bit and once in a while have to adjust but overall my butt isn't as sore or in pain as it was with the stock seat. Numbess will always be an issue no matter how soft or amazing or holy your seat is, that's just a fact of sitting in one position for long amounts of time. I still wich the seat was just a smudge softer, it would make the experience that much greater. Overall: My first impression has been great seat for the price, especially if you're a little wider. Softness can be better but you really can't complain considering everything it has going for it. And always your comfort level will depend on your size, how long you're staying in one position, and you're definition of softness.

Cloud-9 seats are very comfortable. Definitely recommend for replacing original equipment seats.

Really help on the long rides

I have been riding bicycles for about 55 years now. My longest ride was 1300 miles. That ride was when I was just a teenager but I could barely sit on my back side on 'day two' of that ride! Today my rides are much shorter but I am so glad to have found such a comfy seat after all of these years. I'm sure any real bicycle enthusiast will balk at the sight and specs of this seat, but if you are mostly interested in riding comfortably then I highly recommend this 'saddle'. Yes, you compromise by adding weight to your ride but I find the extra comfort so well worth that compromise. The dollar cost is 'nothing' compared with a properly painful bicycle saddle. Many of you out there can probably afford to give this seat a test ride to help you to decide for yourselves. Enjoy! I sure do.

Just received this seat yesterday and I LOVE it! SO much better than the seat that came on my bike. I recently started riding again in an attempt to get some exercise and shape up. I have arthritis, so I thought that riding a bike would be easier on my joints, but the factory seat on my bike was killing my tailbone! I couldn't ride for more than 15 minutes at a time because of the pain. It was brutal. So I ordered this seat hoping that it would help. I'm pleased to say that not only did it help, it completely eliminated my pain! I can ride as long as I want now. It's bigger than the factory seat, but not freakishly so. It looks really good on the bike. Very sporty. I installed it on my Mongoose mountain bike in less than five minutes. If you're on the market for a comfortable bike seat, look no further. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner!

Overall this seat is fine. I don't really notice a significant change in comfort over the stock seat on my Aventon Aventure e-bike. It seemed like everyone was raving over the comfort of this seat, but even after a lot of time spent adjusting it, I wouldn't say I'm confident it was worth the money. Also.. it SQUEAKS. Bad. And a bunch of the bolts were loose to the point where they probably would have fallen off during a ride if I hadn't noticed and tightened them. Lastly, the install was easy, but the rails don't align as well as the rails with my stock seat; they're almost a little too far apart, but it seems to be holding fine.

Fantastic saddle. It is very nice to sit on for many hours and miles. After a years use it still looks like new. It is very well made and it was easy to fit.

Use on my ebike and is a huge improvement to the seat that it came with

Had a tailbone injury and tried some other seats but this is the one that helped the most. Easy to install and very comfortable. Only issue is that it absorbs a lot of water so not good to leave out - but will just need to get a seat cover. Well recommended.

The seat creaks so much, even after trying to tighten all the screws. The creaking noise is so annoying, I had to buy a new seat from another company. Not great, considering the cost of the seat.
