The saying you get what you pay for is not anything new and it applies here. If you want super elegant flameless candles and don't have a budget buy Luminara and you won't be disappointed. If you want to compromise and you're putting these on a shelf or acros the room go this route. The overall look of the candle is great and you're not missing out on much by going with this brand. I think where they lack is with the sound the candles make. I have a set of small wooden wind chimes outside the living room window and if I have all six of my candles going as pictured on the coffee table it sounds like I've "turned up the volume" of the wind chimes. But that being said I'm too cheap to buy the "real deal" and I'm pleased with these ones!

Candles look great and flicker to give the appearance of real candles. However after 3 weeks of use, the smallest candle would not turn off. After taking a closer look the white wire going to the switch has melted - these are very tiny wires - but the insulation has burned away and it appears this caused the on/off switch to malfunction. The candles run on 2 AA batteries. I am returning these for a refund.

I bought two sets of these for the Christmas mantle because we no longer use real candles with greenery. From 5 feet you can't tell they aren't real. The flicker is great--a wonderful safe alternative.

Lights blink on and off give a phone appearance. Flame works fine but blinking looks terrible.
