S1050 LED Tactical Flashlight [2 Pack]

Got this little flashlight looking for something better than my last one I recently purchased. This "Gearlight" baby is very well built. It is somewhat heavy for its small size, rugged and powerful. You can light a football field with it ! Great, great purchase. It might not be the most powerful flashlight in the market but can't deny it is really good and worth more than the asking price.

The S1050 lights that I got did not have the "upgraded" label on the box like the one on the webpage, so I guess they are the original version. They are certainly bright enough for my needs. The beam is a pleasing shade of white, without the excess blue light in some. I will be using them with rechargeable 18650 batteries, as I already have both the batteries and chargers for previous flashlights. These lights use a lens for focus and zoom, not a reflector. For that reason, they will never be quite as bright in a narrow beam as they would be with a reflector with the same LED due to the physics of focusing. The zoom function on these lights works very well, as the floodlight position is uniformly illuminated. My existing reflector zoom flashlight is darker in the center than on the edges in floodlight mode. The narrow beam on this flashlight is not quite as narrow as the reflector lights that I have. However, if the zoom went any narrower the image of the structure of the LED would be projected on the scene which is somewhat distracting. You can already see the circular beam transitioning into a square, but it is still pretty uniformly illuminated. The lights that I received have 3 brightness levels with no strobe or SOS. I like that personally. All in all, they are very useful lights, especially for the low price for a pair.

GearLight LED Flashlights S1050 [2 PACK] I was skeptical of all the positive reviews, but for $10, I figured I'd see what all the fuss was about. Plus, I wanted a compact light I could easily fit in my pocket, with decent brightness, of course. These lights feel very well made, and are bright. Even on the low setting, it puts out a decent amount of light. And casts a beam a very long ways. I am using these lights with brand new Duracell Optimum AAA Batteries, but you can also use an 18650 battery, if you wish. I can't say for sure, because I do not have an 1865 battery, but, these lights may be even brighter using one of those. I do like having the option of being able to use 2 different battery types, and plan to use an 1865 battery in the future. The red power button on the rear of these flashlights, is firm, and responsive. Doesn't feel flimsy at all. There is also a a wrist strap attached to the rear of the light, if you wish to use it. You can take it off also. I do wish these lights came with holsters, but considering their low price, I can't complain. Only time will tell how long these lights will last, but so far, I am really impressed with them. I highly recommend. PEACE TO YOU!

I just received my GearLight S1050 LED Flashlight 2 Pack flashlights today. They seem to be well constructed. I am unsure what the "Upgraded" banner on the product box means as the box my flashlights came in doesn't have that banner on its front. They do come with a 'Limited One Year Warranty', which states the company at their discretion will "repair, replace, or refund the purchase price" if they determine the product is defective. The flashlights were delivered promptly. Each box contains two flashlights, instruction manual, two AAA Battery Holders, two 18650 Battery Tubes, one user manual, one warranty card. Each flashlight also has a short (7 inch) hand strap attached to it. There are three light modes, high, medium, low. The flashlight always come on in the high mode, even though you may have turned it off in the high, medium, or low mode. After 10 seconds of being turned off, the flashlight reverts to the "high" mode of brightness! You can fully click it on, then off, then on, then off, then on, then off to cycle thru the three modes (unless you have turned it off and waited ten seconds....which it will then come on in the high mode). There is NO strobe or any other mode for this flashlight. I have just discovered that you can LIGHTLY press the on-off switch to cycle thru the three lighting modes continuously without fully turning the light off each time. There are two 18650 battery sleeves (one for each flashlight) for Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, but, at this time, I have only used three AAA alkaline batteries and am pleased with the brightness. The zoom feature works well. At the wide setting, it puts a nice uniform circle of light out. With a 3/4 turn clockwise, the zoom focuses to a spot light. The odd part is, it goes from a circle of light (wide angle) to a "square" of light (spot). The circular beam becomes square! It is not objectionable, just a different beam of light (square) from my previous flashlights. At this time, I like the flashlights and the amount or brightness of light it delivers. My only concern, at this point, is how fast the lights consume AAA batteries, which I will know the answer to shortly. Overall, I am pleased with both lights, their brightness, their quality, and their cost. Being able to control the intensity of the light (high, medium, and low) should help me to conserve battery power.

Bought them for my son and partner. One uses it on the back porch when barbecuing at night, and the other uses it for emergency power outages at his apt. They are small but powerful.

Nice flashlights for the price They have worked well when needed. No flickering or smacking around needed to get them to work like some other inexpensive flashlights I have

I use it outside for checking out my work.

Fits comfortably in my hand. Doesn't have excess features that I don't need for daily practical use. Focus adjustment is well designed and it seems pretty durable
