I don't know why not. However, it would probably take four people, unless the patient was very small. Also, you have to get the patient onto the MegaMover.

I am using this stretcher for my Saint Bernard dog should she go down. She is over a buck fifty right now and heavier than me. It has as many grip handles as advertised and is high quality. This unit is appropriate for people and the unit is easily portable anywhere

That's not what it's meant for. I think it would fall apart quickly. You could probably run poles through the handles and fashion a travois.
