practical and convenient - blend anywhere - even while cooking on stove - can in many cases be used instead of food processor - much easier to clean - this is powerful and well worth its price - I bought a metal "milk shake" cup 30 oz - to go with it.

I bought this to blend squash in soups. I've used it a few times and it works very well. Clean up is simple, rinse it in the sink, then 'stir' some warm soapy water, rinse, dry. The plastic guard clips on easily and protects the pan surface. It came with some accessories; the seem nice, but I haven't really used them.One thing, this unit is NOT CORDLESS. I didn't notice that when I purchased it, so was surprised. The cord isn't a big problem, but if you do not have handy outlets, perhaps you'll want a CORDLESS version. KitchenAid is a good brand, so I expect long life.

Very powerful, but you can run it at a low speed so you don’t overdo it. Works very well great brand great mixer. You can start it out very slow or mix things violently high-quality feels like a professional tool in the hand. Very highly recommended. Hope this helps someone

Can't believe it took me this long to switch over from my cheapo Walmart single serve blender. This thing work wonderfully! Makes great smoothies for us.

This KitchenAid hand blender is a workhorse! It's powerful enough to blend soups and smoothies with ease, but also gentle enough for purees. The charcoal grey color is sleek and modern, and it feels really sturdy and well-made. I'm so glad I finally upgraded to this – it's made cooking so much easier and faster.

This is so much fun to use! Soups and smoothies blend up in no time. I only wish I had ordered the cordless model, (like I bought for my granddaughter) so I could have the extra convenience of not being tethered. Overall, great performer and easy to clean.

It's better than the one I replaced. I had another KitchenAid hand blender for years, but it died. We use it every morning for blended beverages and frothing. The first one came with a lot of parts and attachments. This one does not work with those! I was hoping it would, but it does not.I do love the button on this one better; the other one wore out quickly and left a lot of the internal workings exposed. I also like how the speed is adjustable by pressure on the button. The last one had the speed adjustment dial on the top, and once the markings wore off, it was hard to know how someone had it set, and we would have accidental adjustment changes that led to minor blending disasters.I love the color. I am thrilled with how well it blends.

I make my salad dressing and I love how convenient this is to use. Cleaning it is a breeze.
