Don't know why I am giving 4 stars. Actually I can think of 1 reason only.Let me start with good things.Super easy to install using 2 metal holders. Stick them on and you can attach this to those clips or ANY metal surfaces since it has magnets inside.Light is super bright and makes it so easy to see around. It makes me feel stupid not to have it before.Price was reasonable as compared to others I saw with such brightness and quality.And now the only reason it deserves 4 but not 5 stars.This still uses micro usb instead of USB C and the battery does not last long at all probably due to the good brightness and I need to charge it once every week if I use it for approximately 7 minutes every day.Roughly 45 minutes of on time. But again, as it only gets used during night due to the sensor not allowing it to come on during day so a week of trouble free tea making in kitchen is good for this price :)

Very effective, bright light

Charge is rubbish and when you set to auto lasts less than 24 hours! . Don’t waste your money on this product. VEW lighting bars from Screwfix far superior - same look / functions but better quality.

This light has proved invaluable under my cooker hood, allowing me to see exactly what I’m cooking on the hob. The hob light failed some time ago and can’t be replaced so I was cooking in the dark! This light fixes to the hood (or under a cupboard) with a magnetic strip which just sticks on - no need for glue or screws. The light can be easily taken down to recharge via its USB Cable (supplied) to a standard socket. Easy to switch on or off. I wsh I’d had one of these lights ages ago and may well install some in dark cupboards too.

Great item, worked perfectly.....for 12-14month, then started the issues, LED bulbs going making it a dimmer light overall, some bulbs started flashing for no reason while charging, then the full charge lasted for shorter periods, making it quite useless in the end. you get what you pay for though, so in that respect it was less expensive, and therefore less quality (so id like to give 1 star, but i have given 3 to be fair and balanced)

I love everything about this light except for ONE thing: It takes FOREVER to charge - at least 4 hours.With that out of the way, here are reasons why I bought them(two), and why I'm keeping them. First, installation was a breeze. Mounting brackets are included, and you don't even need screws, as double sided tape is also included. The awesome part is the light has magnets at both ends so you can snap it in place into the brackets. Really simple, easy, and effective. Secondly, the light is really bright. There is a switch for OFF, ON, and AUTO - motion sensing mode. I wish there was a way to control the brightness level, but I don't use it often enough to really complain. What I use it for is the occassional late night binge in the kitchen. And because it has a rechargeable battery, you can take it off the bracket as a flashlight or personal light however you like. Which brings me back to the battery. It doesn't last long if you keep using it. The motion sensing mode also uses battery to maintain, and since it takes so long to charge, a good advice is to mount it near a socket so you can just leave it plugged in.So in all, it is very useful. You can also mount it on the wall as a hallway night light for late night trips to the restroom. You can even mount it in the restoom if you don't want to have to turn on the bright overhead lights and use this instead. You can use it on the ceiling near your doorway, so when you come home at night it will light the area for you so you don't fumble around looking for the light switch or other things in the dark. You can mount it in the garage so you don't have to turn on any lights as you exit or try to enter your car. The possibilities are quite numerous, so for me this is a keeper.

Sehr geile Lichtschiene ... erkennt sogar, wenn im Raum das Hauptlicht angeschaltet ist,leuchtet erst bei völliger Dunkelheit - und das soll auch so sein btw ! Sehr hell und LANGE FUNKTION !Bis zu 600 Leuchtzyklen ca. TOLL! Hab grad 4 davon geordert ..... ;-) Spart Strom u.a !
