After multiple family members slipped down our stairs, we knew that we had to do something to prevent falls. This product is ideal for any indoor stairs that are not carpeted and may pose a slipping hazard.Product Evaluation Criteria:I evaluated these Comfy Collection Indoor Stair Treads on slip resistance, durability, appearance and how easy they are to clean. Since purchasing this product, nobody has fallen down our stairs because the treads prevent slipping so well. Our pets are also more confident walking up and down the stairs as they do not slide around anymore. As far as durability goes, this product is impressively durable. We have had these stair treads for about six months and they have held up extremely well. We have them on our main stairs that see quite a bit of daily traffic from people and pets alike. The stair treads have maintained the same color, shape, and have not frayed on the edges. One of our biggest concerns about purchasing these stair treads is that they would look ugly on our stairs. We wanted to prevent slipping without sacrificing on aesthetic. These stair treads blend in nicely with the flooring and provide the anti-slip qualities without sacrificing the home aesthetic. Finally, the stair treads are easy to clean. We simply place the stair treads in the washing machine on a cool setting and hang to dry. They don't stain or hold in any odor and they still look brand new. These stair treads are wonderful!! There is no adhesive, as they are rubber backed, so there is minimal movement of the trees over time. But even with my 3 dogs running up and down the stairs, they only require minor adjustments. And they vacuum up beautifully! They are everything they appear to be in the Amazon pics and description and then some. I looked at many brands of stair treads, and am soooooo glad I went with these. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for quality and performance! 👍👍👍👏🏼👏🏼

We bought these treads to help make our hardwood steps safer for our old and feeble dog. They looked good, stayed in place well, and really helped the old doggie get up and down the steps without slipping. The only problem is that after a year, the rubber backing has started to wear out and lose its grip. I found some double stick tape meant for securing area rugs to hardwood surfaces and that seems to work well.

I could not be happier. My side door has two steps going toward the kitchen, the other direction goes to my basement and is carpeted. So i only needed to address two steps. Local stores sold shades of brown or (pricey) oriental prints. Comfy Stair Treads not only offered an array of colors to match my new gray carpeted stairway and unlike other internet items, i didn't have to buy 8 unnecessary treads. I babysit an elderly dog who once tried to take the stairs up from the door to fast, fell, ended up in the splits and he is 100 pounds so i could not lift him. It was traumatizing for us both. They fit perfectly, are comfy on bare feet, and stay in place (on my ceramic tile stairs) without any adhesive products. Me and my part time dog are VERY GRATEFUl for these stair treads, if i forget to put them down prior to his arrival - he waits on the landing for me to get them; so he is most appreciative. VERY AFFORDABLE, Worth twice as much as i paid, especially since the shipping was not only free, but super fas, i didn't have to order a dozen, and no complaints about the quality. My husband likes the look of them so much. He prefers i leave them out even when the dog is not visiting.

This is exactly what we needed to keep the dogs (and people) from slipping on our new wood stairs.Nice and thick rug that grips to the floor without tape. The set comes with 13. We have 14 steps and I was able to purchase the additional piece separately. The single pieces are a bit more money, but the quality is worth it and now we have a complete set.This is so much cheaper than having a stair runner installed and if you want to change your mind, it's not permanently attached. This item is easily cleaned as well. I already spilled a glass of milk on one, and just threw it in the washing machine, it came out great. I let it line dry rather than use the dryer.

They are nice if you don't need it to look high end. I wanted them to go from my living room (hard wood) to my den which is carpeted but the stairs are not. Needed something for the transition.They basically look and act like a bathroom carpet (rubber backing included). However, that being said I hadn't even installed it on the stairs and in handling them the binding started to unravel on one of them. Perhaps it was only that one. They serve a purpose and look just ok but not for the area of the house and style needed.. not sure how they will hold up in the long-run. Am returning them.Seller easy to deal with and delivery was quick.

These are exactly what I needed. We are in the process of updating our house. The old installed carpet on the stairs was coming up & when my son slid down the last 2 stairs I knew I had to rip it up (& all the carpet staples). We didn't like the way the bare stairs felt & we aren't sure what we can to do. I looked on Amazon for ideas & found these carpet treads, which are the perfect size too. It took me maybe a half hour to tape/install these treads & they look great. Now that we have these on, everyone feels more secure walking down the stairs & they are comfortable.I would definitely recommend these to anyone...excellent fit, product & price!
