Easy to put together once you get it out of the box, didn't take too long. Put first piece of wood through the thicknesser and it came out really well. Same when I ran it across the top table, real easy to use. Makes life more easy and quick to dress wood.

Overall I'm pleased with this tool. I tend to use the thicknesser more than the plainer but it's nice to have both in one, as I have limited space in my workshop. My one frustration may well be shared by all of this type of tools at this pricepoint but the thumbscrews for taking the dust cover/guard off & on take forever to tighten. It's a very fine thread on the screw and can also take time to align properly on one side. A corser screw thread that could secure with four or five turns would be a much better design. One of the thumbscrews lost it's retaining catch almost right away, which I could replace but never seem to get around to. Knocking off a star for such a minor niggle may seem harsh but it's those little details that make the difference between an acceptable & a great tool. Overall I'm happy with the Eihnell & glad I brought it

Brillient produc except it did not come with a 3 pin plug .we had to pinch the plug off of another machine we have at home.

So my own fault for buying this and not actually setting it up to use right away, (too busy) when I did didn't work. Power getting to it but not turning on. My brother a mechanical engineer with 45 years experience opened it up to check it out. Now he managed to get it turning over but only by using a tool to bypass something, i'm a joiner not an engineer. My problem is I left it too late to return item. So na I would run a mile judging by what what actually wrong with this type of machine. If the company that makes this item wants a technical clarification from an engineer whats wrong with it i'm sure I can get one. ONLY if you will replace it otherwise I will just put it down to experience.

The thickness planer is fine The top though you can’t use unless a screwdriver is stuck in to press the switch down The pictures are not clear on how this works properly So not that impressed to be perfectly honest

As a thicknesser it would be greatly improved were it unnecessary to remove the height adjustment handle so frequently. As a planer it fails because the safety switch remains unengaged by the dust removal hood. The screws of the dust removal hood can also catch in the planer blade and thus rip a hole in the hood and damage the blade. The manual, while in good English, was written by someone with no user experience of the machine.

Il faut surtout y mettre un bon aspirateur au cul pour éviter les bourrages et les rejets de copeaux à l'extérieur. je l'uilise fréquemment pour des largeurs entre 5 et 12cm sans aucun problème mais il ne faux pas être gourmant entre chaque passe 1 mm maxi. La graduation des dimensions de rabotage de la raboteuse est vraiment aléatoire et non précise. Toujours prendre son mètre pour vérifier. la dégauchisseuse est parfaite. Le SEUL problème est l'installation de l'éjecteur à copeau avec ses contacts de coupure pour la sécurité sous la table de dégau.

Acquistata durante il prime day, ricevuta in anticipo. La mia prima pialla filo e spessore. Ho letto molte recensioni critiche su questo apparecchio, ma il costo di acquisto mi ha invogliato a tentare. Mi aspettavo, visto il costo, che avrei dovuto investire del tempo in regolazioni e avrei dovuto tollerare qualche difetto. Aperto lo scatolo e montati i pezzi mi rendo subito conto che, diversamente da quanto avevo letto in giro, la guida laterale sulla parte superiore è di ottimo alluminio spesso, saldamente ancorata alla macchina e che, con una minima regolazione tramite l'apposita vite di registro è in squadra con il piano di lavoro. Il piano di lavoro è perfettamente complanare, non ci sono difetti. La manovella per modificare l'altezza del piano di lavoro a spessore è un po' dura al centro della corsa ma poi è fluida. Inizio a montare il dispositivo collettore per i trucioli sotto il piano per provare la piallata a filo. Non facilissimo ma una volta capito il trucco è un attimo. Pialla a filo ok, legno di larice. La guida laterale non flette almeno con un moraletto 5x5. Quando sto per montare il collettore dei trucioli per provare la parte a spessore mi prende lo scoramento perché penso che dovrò smontare la guida di battuta laterale. Falso. Montare il collettore è un attimo. Quello che invece mi ha sorpreso negativamente è la manovella per manovrare il piano sottostante. Infatti, con il collettore montato sopra, la protezione per la Lama superiore si solleva e rende impossibile manovrare la manopola. L'ho smontata e tenuta appesa alla macchina ma in modo che non interferisse con la lavorazione. Inizio a piallare travetti di larice da portare a 3x5x90cm. Altra sorpresa, la macchina segna esattamente lo spessore sulla guida metrica e non lascia snipe. Nulla. Tutto fila liscio per i 90cm di legno inserito. Che dire, son soddisfatto. Un hobbista soddisfatto.

La máquina es buena pero dura poco , yo la compré hace un año y ya se ha averiado pero lo más grande es que es más rentable comprar una nueva que repararla y eso le pasa a todas las máquinas de eihell lo digo por experiencia.
