This light is great for all pet birds. The FeatherBrite 16w LED 5500 k daytime full spectrum bulb is included. * A LED UV low dose 1.5 watt with candelabra socket bulb is included. Shines blue when used at night like moonlight. * Lightweight and easy to assemble. Just push loops between the cage bars and snap into place. * New cage mount is stainless steel. * Stainless steel safety wire extender helps to keep the electrical cord a safe distance from the cage. * Spun aluminum shade and bird safe, durable, non-toxic powder coat is used. *With this model, there are two electrical cords with off/on switches so you can leave the blue UV LED bulb on and have it act as a moonlight. The low UV output is not harmful or too much for your pet bird. Both can be operated with a timer. Fits right on top of your cage ! This light design will fit most cages including dome, Victorian, flat tops. For cages with playtops, just remove tray. No hardware needed, simply slide eyelets between the cage bars. The shade is attached to the stainless cage adapter with 4 wingnuts which allows you to change the bulb easily. The bulb is housed within the shade and will sit 4" from the top of the cage. A FeatherBrite LED full-spectrum bulb (16w, 5500k, 91cri, UVA 8%, UVB .04%) is included with the light. This bulb provides full-spectrum light and no heat and most important, NO MERCURY! Durable non-toxic powder coat is used. A safety wire extender is attached to keep the electrical cord away from the cage. This feature helps prevent your pet from chewing the cord while they are in the cage. Please note that the light is too large for the smaller canary and parakeet cages.
