I have the 4" red nerf ball(WHICH IS AMAZING) I need it to be 6" is this really 6"

The actual measurement is 4.25 ". It is not a 6 inch ball.

Does it need to be sqeezed to make a sound?

Yes, typical dog squeak toy, only makes noise when you squish it. Louder and more varieties of sound than most.

Are these thick rubber or the real thin rubber?

Pretty thick. My dog 🐕 likes very much.

would this ball be good for a 59 pound pitbull who likes to chew?

My two Rotties chew and destroy all toys but they actually would rather play fetch with these balls and they love that it squeaks too. I’m sure your pup will love it although it’s not indestructible. They last us several months!
