Yarn Bowl - Blue Violet with Raspberry

I love this yarn bowl. It works well and is beautiful. It is heavy enough that it doesn't move around as I pull yarn through the hole on the side. And the bowl of it is big enough to hold most skeins of yarn. It would also make an excellent gift for anyone who knits. The quality is excellent. I have received many compliments on this yarn bowl.

Smaller than it appeared

Well made, wish it was a bit larger and the 'hook' for the yarn had a sharper curve to keep the yarn in place as it sometimes slides down to the bottom of the loop. Heavy enough it won't easily topple and broad base reinforces this.Came very well packaged

Beautifully hand-crafted! The hook for the yarn thread is perfect for me--I've seen others that were not curved enough to hold the thread, but the one on this bowl is perfect! I love the way the glaze looks, and how smooth the bowl is! I would prefer a slightly wider bowl, say 10"-12" in diameter, but I love it all the same! The mouth of the yarn bowl is about 6"-7" in diameter and is well-suited for small to medium sized balls of yarn. If you wind your yarn balls larger than that (as I tend to do with a 10" diameter yarn ball...), it may not work as well when unwinding and working on a project. But, I find this yarn bowl to work well for what I need and I expect I will order another one soon!

This bowl arrived in an extremely timely manner and looks exactly like it does in the picture; it's well made, with a very attractive glaze, large enough for those really big balls of yarn, and the yarn swirl is whimsical and hopefully (we're giving it as a gift) functional. It arrived incredibly (and I mean incredibly) well packed, and it looked like it was carefully packed by hand by someone who seriously cared about having the bowl arrive intact. The seller even signed the packing receipt personally, so it really did feel like a purchase from a human being, not a giant corporation. I would definitely buy from this seller again.

This bowl is beautiful and very well made. It is very close to the photo, which is amazing considering that it is had made. It is nice and heavy which will make it perfect for keeping the yarn in place while working. Super glad that it is made by an artisan here in the US. So much that we buy is from overseas, that it is a real treat to help support a US artist. I would not hesitate to order again from him again.

this yarn bowl came as advertised, very high quality and packed well so don't be worried about breakage. would be nice if it was slightly bigger but I'm sure it will fit most yarn balls, and maybe with the option of the little holes for separating the yarn would be nice thus the 4 stars.

This was a gift. My friend was excited to get this. The colors were beautiful and the workmanship was fantastic. Heavy so it won't walk off with the yarn. No places to snag or stretch the yarn.
