You and your birds will love this light
I have 4 finches that just love this light. I put them on a timer so I do not have to remember to turn off an on. It is very sturdy and sits on the cage evenly, looks nice. Make sure you put the electrical cords where your birds can't chew on them. The light was delivered quickly and packaged very well, instructions for use were accurate. I have used it for several months now and love it as much as the day I got it. The Birds appear to have more energy, their colors are brighter, and they definitely sing more now. Thank FeatherBrite for a great product.

This works perfect! This light is very important for my budgies since I don't get much sun light in house in both summer and winter. The only adjustment I had to do is not to use the legs of the light to mount on top of cage for easy access, because I have vision L01 bird cage and it doesn't fit. Instead I fixed directly to the top of the cage and the adjusted the perch in cage with in suggested range. I scheduled the featherbright day light for 4 hours and regular daylight for 8 and night light for 12 hours. My two budgies love it and I see BIG difference in their behaviors before and after I setup featherbright day light. They are very happy and exited since they started getting the sunlight benefits from featherbright day light.

Great product, Cockatoo loves it!
Birds need natural, unfiltered (no window!) sunlight but if you're like me and don't have the space or the climate for an outdoor aviary this is the next best thing. I bought this lamp for my bare-eyed cockatoo. I live on the east coast and with the winter months coming there isn't much sunshine! Birds need sunlight for their health, producing vitamin D and the oil they use to preen their feathers. Sunlight is also supposed to lessen anxiety and depression in your bird.This company shipped the product sooooo fast, and it arrived in perfect condition and was just as described. It comes with everything in the photo, including the little shelf the lamp sits on. Assembly was quick and easy and I had the lamp on in a few minutes. I don't know if the "moonlight" feature makes much difference to my bird, but it's a cool option to have. I wanted the lamp over the center of the cage, so I had to cover the cord with plastic wire protector so my bird wouldn't be able to chew through the cord. If you want the lamp over the center of the cage you'll probably have to do this. Otherwise I do think it keeps the wire away if the lamp is off to the corner.It's a great product, I'm happy with it!
