Excellent. After I got over the shock of the cd that was for installation, I downloaded the install from their site and it was easy to set up. Excellent antenna and works well with their extendee.

I’m very happy with this TP-Link AC1300 USB WiFi adapter. Setup was extremely easy—plug it in, install the driver, and it worked right away. No complicated configuration at all. The speed is excellent. I immediately noticed a big improvement compared to my old WiFi adapter, especially on the 5GHz band. Streaming, video calls, and downloads are smooth and stable, with no random drops. It’s a perfect solution for desktop PCs that don’t have built-in WiFi or for upgrading an older adapter. Reliable, fast, and well worth the price. I would definitely recommend it.

This adapter installed quickly and connected without issues. Speeds are solid for everyday browsing and streaming, and the external antenna helps with signal strength. Pros: easy setup, stable connection, compact Cons: not as fast as internal PCIe cards Bottom line: Great solution if your desktop needs Wi-Fi without opening the case.

If you are questioning what WiFi wireless adapter should I get, look NO further this is the one!! I literally put the adapter into the USB port, clicked onto my WiFi icon and was connected in under two minutes! The signal is strong and I could have not asked for a better product for the money!!!! No hassle no worry! Very satisfied and TP-Link will have a customer for life! ❤️

Bought a USB wifi adapter from Cudy here on Amazon but it was spotty. I'd be cruising along and all the sudden "page cannot be displayed". I'd unplug it from the USB hub and plug it back in and 5 mins later had internet but that got annoying quick. My office, with my servers, is way on the other side of the home, several walls between the router and the desktop so the Cudy would probably be ok for most people. There highest I achieved was 585Mbps. Returned it and bought THIS. 780Mbps (833 sometimes) and not a single drop in the 10 days I've owned it. No small feat considering my home layout. The external antenna and the MIMO feature must be the difference. MIMO is common in most routers since 2019 and what it does it create a direct line to the device. Instead of throwing out a fanned-out range of signal which the adapter can tap into, MIMO connects directly to the device... Or at least tries to. MIMO is an important feature on a router and for the Cudy to NOT have it was a problem. I don't like NOT maximizing my gear. This is also usb 3.0, which can make a huge difference in device to device transfers inside the home. Probably won't effect your DOWNLOADED stuff from your ISP unless you pay $200 a month for your cable company's 1Gbps plan. I get 200Mbps so anything above that is gravy. BUT, if I was to send a file from my laptop to my desktop via the intranet, every Mbps counts. This was only 2 or 3 dollars more and for the antenna and MIMO it's all worth it. The antenna isn't just for show either...I can increase my signal strength by adjusting the antenna. Right now I have it flat, instead of straight up and my signal went from 585mbps to, like I said, 780 and even 833. I've never seen higher than 625Mbps on my office desktop. Of course I researched these like I was buying a used car, so you can take my word for it. Comes with driver CD. Put the disc in, run setup, plug the device into a USB 3.0 slot and you're ready to go. You can play with the placement after that... Right click on the wifi signal icon in there bottom right of the taskbar and click properties, then Status and watch the Mbps change. Find the sweet spot and leave it there. It's a great product for under $35... Mine was only $16 and change I believe. TP-Link is a decade(s) old networking company and they make good stuff. Hope this helps! D

I've been using this thing for over 2 years with no issues at all with 300mbps speed. I got bumped up to 600mbps and it still works great for gaming (albeit some high ping) but while downloading games it's over heats every 2 minutes and disconnects. So just something to think about. I will leave it at 5 stars bc it gave me zero issues for over 2 years. But I am upgrading to the Archer Tx55e AX3000.

Installing it was pretty much a cakewalk and for the most part it helped some when I tested the range. Not to mention it's small enough to take with you just about anywhere. Only thing I wish is that the connection was stronger. After a while it started to feel like how the connection usually does when I move far away from the router. Function-wise it helps a little, but I would probably like to see if there could be another one that has a stronger connection.
