Great product
Works amazing! I have this in a 2.5 inch build that absolutely rips. No obvious latency (even if it's there) I cant tell and I fly fast outdoor proximity. Records in mp3 unlike others making it extremely convenient to edit and share videos from my phone. Mounting holes are. To big for my build which is my fault and it still works great will definitely buy more of these asap for more builds.

Looked used
This item has been discontinued for a while, but this vendor still had them. Unfortunately, the box on the one I received looked like it had been dragged through a mudpuddle, and the actual camera only worked spuradically. After working with Runcam, I sent them closeup photos of the board, and they pointed out that the unit had been mounted, and that two of the micro SMT components had been dislodged. Fortunately, I do a lot of SMT soldering, and I was able to get them back into place, and it works fine now. So I would give 5-stars to to the actual product, but zero stars to the vendor that sold a used item as new.

Cannot believe the quality of this
The media could not be loaded. Added this to a new drone build and was absolutely blown away by the video quality!

Great quality.
This camera is perfect for POV flight but it is unfortunate that it does not come with shielding or a board mount of some kind to help keep the camera and board together.Minor criticism aside this is an all around great product.

Great Camera
Lots of features (16:9/4:3 adjusting, NTSC/PAL, etc). Small little things like auto recording, camera quality is great.

Back To Analog
This RunCam Split 4 4K FPV Camera with FOV 140° Low Latency, DC 5-20V Nano HD Recording is my first foray back to building and flying analog quadcopters in over a year. Digital FPV is like nothing else I've ever experienced, and Analog just can't compete with that for most situations because it looks like I'm watching grainy old VCR tapes. But recently I had a project that couldn't utilize a digital system so analog was my only option, and I went ahead and used this camera which also has HD recording capabilities. As for latency, there's no contest here this has lower latency than the best digital systems without a doubt, which for some is the main appeal to using an analog camera such as this one. This camera does provide a good image that was mostly grain free in my time using it so far, and I liked how simple it was to record HD footage onto my microSD card compared to other systems I've used it the past.Overall, if you are already in to flying digital fpv you won't have any desire to go back to analog unless a project requires it, and honestly the experience of going from digital back to analog wasn't as bad as I remembered it, I think my mind exaggerated certain details, but the flight experience is remarkably similar regardless of which system you use. 4/5 stars.

Good camera overall but...
The SD slot reader stopped holding my SD card so hard flights knock it loose, causing it to stop recording midflight. A piece of tape fixes that issue, though. It does this weird thing where it splits videos up into 8 minute and 25 second segments... Weird, I wish it didn't do that. It would save me a step in processing when making videos of my recorded flights.4k Video looks good, otherwise. Very nice camera. The built in DVR does get pretty hot though. I didn't have enough ports for the RX/TX features of this board; I'm sure that would save me some trouble in a future build, but for right now, my finger gets pretty warm when I press the onboard adjustment buttons.Upgrading firmware is easy as cake, though, since the built in DVR can read files from the SD card to perform the upgrade.
