The gloves are made with good material but there was a sewing error on one of the gloves. An email to the company resulted in no response. In spite of the defect and no response from the company they are well-made gloves.If I could give ten stars I would give then to this company. They replaced the gloves very quickly after logistics were worked out. Customer Service is very helpful and concerned about their customers. This company is a prize!!!!

These are very thin leather. The bees sting through them. The cuff lining crumbled after 10 or 12 uses. The long sleeve is so narrow that only a scrawny child could make use of it. An adult ends up with the entire sleeve bunched around the wrist. These are junk.

Excellent looking gloves. Have not yet used them with bees. Don't normally need any protective gear with my bees, no veil, gloves, suit. I just picked up a pair in case of killer bees arriving in my neighborhood. I found the sizing measurement of "around knuckles" not at all accurate. My hand measured 23 mm = a medium glove. I could not get my hand into a medium glove, I was not surprised. A XL glove fits my hand fine.

Okay, but you will need to reinforce or resew as the single stitch or whatever stitch they used is coming loose after light use.

He didn't get stung this time! We had to wait a long time for these gloves since they were out of stock. This batch has a drawstring instead of elastic, so it's adjustable. It takes a second to secure it, but it fits better than the one-size-fits-all elastic. I ordered a medium for my husband and got a large, but we didn't complain because they fit just fine.

I bought these gloves back in February but didn't get to use them until my bees came in late April. I will say that the gloves look substantial and gave me confidence installing my first nuc. But now, after just a week’s use, the canvas gauntlet has basically disintegrated on both gloves where it meets the leather (it’s actually the canvas falling apart – the stitching is intact). As you can see in the pictures, these gloves are like new in every other respect and, for the price I paid for them, I don't think they should have come apart so quickly. I emailed the company but didn’t receive a response and, because I purchased them early, I’m outside of Amazon’s return window.

While this type of glove will typically last longer than an elastic band, the cord stoppers on these particular gloves are too big for the cords. I highly recommend getting replacement cord stoppers with replacement cords so that you can get these gloves to stay set.
