Great shine . I refinished some Adironck chairs.... They look great. Went on smooth and leveled out well. Time will time if it's worth a second purchase

I used this RustOleum Marine Spar Varnish on a wooden patio table, and the results were great. The varnish goes on smoothly and gives a rich, glossy finish that really enhances the natural wood grain. It made the surface look clean and polished, almost like something out of a professional woodshop. It held up well against sun, rain, and humidity. After weeks of summer weather, the finish still looks fresh with no cracking or fading. This varnish definitely gives long lasting protection and works especially well on natural or stained wood. One thing to note — I tested it on a white-painted surface, and it added a slight amber tint. So I would not recommend using it over white or very light colors if you want the color to stay pure. It is better suited for darker or natural wood tones. Overall, this is a reliable and high quality varnish for outdoor furniture or any wood that needs extra protection from the weather. I’ll definitely use it again for future woodworking projects.

Love this varnish! It provides a nice, thick coat for your wood pieces to help protect them from the elements. It is very high gloss. I used this on the outdoor table and benches. I applied two coats with a long curing time in between, but I could have gotten away with just one coat too. This varnish is thick and sticky. It takes a while to fully dry out.

Ease to use but have to double coat to get good shine dry time it fast

Can't beat spar varnish for that beautiful hard shiny golden finish, especially in exterior uses. It is of course a bit pricey and is slow to cure. I've never really seen a difference between spar varnishes from different supplies, this is as good as any other. The photo shows it on birch plywood inside my camper.

It felt like a pricier investment during my shopping comparison, but I was looking for a clear coat that would not yellow could be left Outdoors the only stuff truly is the boat marine type clear coats because the other ones are meant for indoor furniture and they're like keep it away from a window and all that business and what's the point of clear coating something if you got a baby that much so this is the stuff when you want to protect wood outside or if you got the big bucks you can use it on furniture you'll leave inside as well. Seems like a small can but one coat on my bench barely put a dent in the levels I will have to do another couple coats on it but ultimately anywhere I have wood that I want to clear coat in it and show off the wood grain this is my can and it's working well on garage shelves that I've made without staining this actually looks pretty good and it changes the color depth of the wood itself like it was lightly stained. This can will go far for sure...especially considering what amount of clear product that is in spray cans. You will definitely need mineral spirits to clean this product from your brush and I used a more eco-friendly brand that doesn't have as harsh of a smell. One last thought on the park bench that I clear coated once, it literally took 24 hours before it was not tacky...the same day I painted an indoor wood shelf that was already mounted and staying indoors in the garage that's always open with Breeze going through but no Sun reaches it--that took a week before it wasn't tacky and the garage smelled like crazy fumes. But I know in the end this is long-term waterproofing protectant. Don't think a termite will get near it either. Lol

This stuff is great, used on old wooden doors on the outside of the house after stripping. Went on smooth and gave depth to the wood (most varnishes will do the same thing if applied properly.) I'll rereview in a year to determine if the product brakes down, though I doubt it will brake down, this stuff has been around a long time and has very good reviews.

rustoleum products are great . However it dried w a tint, not clear.

I bought this to protect an outdoor wood countertop and it has not disappointed! It goes on very nicely and after four coats it has created an impermeable shield against moisture. Water simply sits on top and I can use a squeegee to wipe it off. It also gave the wood a sleek "wet" look and a smooth feel. The can stretched much further than I expected - I still have some left for other projects too.

Il s'applique bien , le pinceau se nettois très bien avec du variole,diluant à peinture , bonne brillance, évidement sabler finement avec du papier 180 ou 220 entre chaque couche , reste à voir pour la résistance cette hiver
