Very impressed with this little dock - works better than my expensive Dell WD19S at a fraction of the price. So I upgraded my monitor recently to a LG Ultrawide. The Dell dock just would not see my monitor. For £13 (Amazon resale), this little beuty works a dream. It powers and charges my laptop (you will need a 100W power supply available on Amazon for £9.99) Video pass through to my monitor is flawless - and it copes with widescreen resolution (3440 x 1440) I have my webcam attached to it - again passthrough just works It also powers my screen light bar, no problems Worth knowing - it does dumb down the refresh rate on my monitor, giving 60Hz with display port and 50Hz with HDMI. I'm not a gamer, so this really doesn't bother me - the image is perfectly fine for office work. That said, I tried to find a dock that supports beyond 60Hz refresh rate and failed - I'm not sure one exists? Also, my monitor supports Display port and HDMI, I just leave the HDMI cable plugged in to the monitor, and if I should ever want max refresh rates I can plug it directly in to my laptop, meaning 2 connections not one - I can live with that. Also, minor niggle, and it is minor, it does not detect power status from my laptop, meaning when I turn off the laptop my light bar, camera and external hard drive remain powered on (the old dell dock would power down everything attached to it when you turned off the laptop.) Top tip - I purchased mine from Amazon Wharehouse for £13! It's so good I bought another for my wife. She doesn't even want a multiple monitor set up - but since my old monotor is going begging, she's getting one! ;)

Fantastic dongle, I use it on my MacBook Pro M4 and it works perfectly, I also have an iVanky dock and plug that in to this dongle and both my displays still work and charges fine. The USBs work perfectly and it fits and looks good. Really recommend.

Can be a bit tricky to install if your Mac has a cover

New to Mac Pro but this kit is essential in allowing attachments to this particular model-multi functionality for attachments and thumb drives - amazing value for the price - very pleased - sleek compact robust kit !

Good quality feel and construction. And if this product delivered all it promised it would be 5 stars all the way. Unfortunately it doesn’t quite deliver the connect to laptop and go experience. I’m not sure why but trying to run the graphic output through the 2 hdmi outputs didnt work. I ended up using 1 hdmi from laptop and 1 from hub to get it stable for dual screens. Also plugging the USB dongles for the keyboard and mouse both into the hub at the same time resulted in the mouse sticking and lagging until i moved it into the laptop usb. I would still say it provides a solution hub but could be better if it delivered the full experience

Bought it to expand my laptop onto two large monitors, and that it did. I've been using this HUB for over a month and a half. It is great value - half the cost of similar products. Does what it said - it was simply plug and play. No loss of quality (on my laptop anyway) One little niggle, you need to ensure the hub or cable to the laptop does not move much as it looses connectivity. But then again, much more expensive product used in the office does that too. Again, great value and so far, great quality.

Purchased approx 2 months ago. About a month in, the monitor I was using this hub to connect to would intermittently go black every 3-5 minutes, 4 or 5 times in the space of about 30 seconds and then the screen would just show static until I turned it off completely and turned back on. Also poor connection into MacBook Pro, doesn't 'click' into the USB-C and easily falls out. This has been the case with displayport and HDMI unfortunately and have tried different connections with no luck. Would avoid. When it works the colour is great and it's easy to use, however I will be sending it back.

Purchased this to create a “mission control” centre for my work from home set up. I already have a HP HUB however it doesn’t have a hdmi port (crazy I know) So instead of buying a usb to hdmi adapter I purchased this unit so I can plug the usbC from this into my hub therefore creating additional HDMI ports, additional usbs (I also have an Amazon basics triple usb hub) This means I can now run 3 screens, my wired mouse (I hate wireless mice) my wireless keyboard, my usb headset, my separate HD webcam, my usb hub splitter, my HP hub and I have two spare ports for Charing my mobile (or adding a usb desk fan in summer) It just does what it needs to do and gives you so much more capability. Don’t hesitate to buy it if you are looking at a home set up

Fantastic adapter that meets my needs for my new MacBook Air M2. This has the USB C in that I needed, and enough USB A ports, HDMI, and even a camera chip card for any multitasker. Love it!
