Need some peace of mind? AccuTracking has you covered.
The AccuTracking TK373 OBD GPS 3G tracker worked like a charm! I have had the unit installed and operational for a month now, and I have had no issues with the hardware quality or its performance. The unit provided excellent coverage across central and eastern North Carolina. The web interface for the tracking software was straight forward and easy to use, while providing a nice range of options for display, tracking and reporting. As for the subscription service, my first week was free - that gave me some peace of mind about investing in this solution. After the free trial, I had the option to purchase additional time at monthly, quarterly or annual time intervals. Considering the wealth of information provided, and the GPS tracking level down to 15 second interval, the costs were very reasonable. Another aspect of their tracking service is that it supports multiple trackers, to include mobile phones. I did not however look into the mobile phone option. Bottom line is the solution is flexible, affordable and highly operational. I'll also say that I was very happy that AccuTracking support proactively reached out to me shortly after my purchase, to check to see if I had any questions or concerns. I can't say that I have experienced that level of service for anything I have purchased in the past. Based on my experience I highly recommend their hardware and software tracking solution.

AWESOME TRACKING DEVICE!!!! Read This......!!!
Ok, I have had some time since I purchased this tracker so I believe I should be able to speak intelligently about its capabilities. I used an extension cable with this tracker in order to keep its presence a secret & had very few issues with the trackers abilities. So, for the record, you CAN use an extention cable when you cannot afford for your tracker to be detected. To be fair, there were some issues with weak signals & limited tracking with the use of the extention cable in the more rural areas the vehicle ventured into. This device could not be any easier to install. I had my device installed, powered up & tracking within 30 seconds. There are 4 data packages available. The better the package, the more often the device refreshes, the more detailed info that is recieved, & can even recieve Diagnostic Trouble Codes on the tracked vehicle. Now, this is an EXCELLENT device whether you are using it in a fleet application, tracking a family member, or significant other. Depending on the data package you choose (I reccommend Package 4), this tracker can provide tracking history to include street addresses for up to the previous 72 hours. This is a “set it & forget it” type device! You can pick & choose the type of alerts you recieve & can even set “boundaries” (or geo fences), speed limitation alerts, oil change alerts, engine idle & even harsh turn alerts. The FAQ’s are very limited, but cover the most popular/basic questions. If you have a question, you email the developer, you get a very prompt response. The tracking map is top notch with your choice of either a satellite view (showing an expandable street view) or a map style view which includes a status box that you can summon that provides speed, direction, fuel level, diagnostic info, current location, ignition on/off & altitude. You will be hard pressed to find a better bargain. The more you use this application, the easier it will be to use! I suggest trying ALL the finctions on the menu bar so you can see for yourself just how wonderful this is!!! This device’s application is compatible with a PC and works well with my iPhone!!! I hope this was helpful!!

Wow...this tracker is quite amazing
I had the need to track my car but didn't want to have to remember to change batteries. Since this device plugs into the OBD II port, there is no need to worry. I did have to purchase an extension cable so that it did not stick down so far (I feared that it would get broken if a person's leg hit it accidentally). The device is extremely accurate and has many features. It is nice that it also provides information related to the vehicle (battery status, fast braking, etc.), and the tracking is very accurate. Setting a "geo fence" is easy and works very well too. The paid subscription cost seems very reasonable, and there are different levels of subscriptions to help with the cost (updates/minute, number of months, etc.). Like any device that uses power, this one could drain a weakened battery if the vehicle sits unused for an extended (weeks/months) period of time, so be aware of that. But, since you can check the status of the vehicles batter with the app, you have a means of knowing when you need to drive the vehicle for a while to recharge the vehicle battery.

Great product but needs a nobile app
Great product for tracking my teenager. Has a lot of cool features such as alerts when she exceeds a speed I have defined or makes a harsh turn. I can monitor stops she makes and routes she takes. It is extremely accurate. There are also reports that I can receive for all sorts of thjngs at a schedule I define. It can monitor battery charge as well. The unexpected plus was that once she knew she was being tracked, she has modified her driving behaviour, less speeding and because we know where she is, she doesn't need to remember to let us know (which she frequently forgot to do), so we worry a whole lot less when she is out having fun. Now, I could not give it a 5 star review because there is no mobile app, which I guess either was not clear when I bought it, or an oversight by me. Also, the internet interface on a mobile phone (I use an iPhone 6) is a bit tricky and better suited for a PC screen. Finally, this model requires both the tracking subscription and the data plan (which are grouped but cost $20 a month).
