Home Body Paperback – 17 Nov. 2020

I have been a big fan of Rupi Kaur's writing and 'The Sun and Her Flowers' is one of my all time favourite books. I was delighted to receive my copy of 'Home Body' and it did not disappoint! This book includes some amazing poetry and I particularly enjoyed the hand drawn illustrations, which is a wonderful staple of Rupi's books. These poems are spilt carefully into mood sections which really captures the thoughts and feelings of emotion - especially the initial 'Mind' segment. Amazing writer, this book really has something for everyone looking to heal in some way. If you are wondering whether you should purchase this book - you totally should!

I love this writer.Well worth a look

I love this book so much , Rupi has outdone herself yet again!! Her poems are extremely relatable and you can tell they come from the heart , it touches on important topics and she phrases certain things beautifully, I admire her poetry so much and this is definitely a book I recommend as it is certain it’ll touch your heart!

At this beginning this book just blew me away but as it went on it just became went dry and crude in some poems with the use of the word pussy (I think a better word could of been used & something more suited to such beautiful poems) I also felt that some of the poems came across quite narcissistic. There’s a difference with self love and borderline narcissism. Milk and honey was utterly incredible and I have so much admiration for Kaur. Her poems are powerful and will most definitely draw you in. Overall I do think this is a very good book, empowering and relatable.

I always love Rupi Kaur poetry so this book was in my must haves. Absolutely lovely, the words, the illustrations, everything about it. It touches really deeply. Some poems are very intimate and emotional. I really recommend to have them all 3 (Milk and honey, The sun and her flowers and Home body). Million stars. ⭐️

I absolutely love Rupi Kaur’s books she is a severely underrated and talented writer. I highly recommend her books.
