Sadly it was not what i wanted.....i bought the daniel book....which was awesome by same author.....this however is just 1 or 2 verses from a chapter here and there.....random books of the bible...to fit what author wanted......im sure it is very well put together......simply not what i wanted i will try genesis/ revelation.....hopefully more like his book on daniel

This is another five star resource by Ron Rhodes. I have been through the new testament four times in the past two years. This year I decided to do the new testament along with my study of the old testament so I got this book. It is non-prescriptive thinking and doesn't endorse any one version of the Bible so you can use your "favorite Bible". It helps guide you for life lessons with thought provoking questions for self insight and Christian growth. It can be used for personal or group Bible study. I use is for my personal daily and I keep a daily study journal making notes for my personal growth. If you are a new believer, you would never regret using this book!

many people call themselves bible scholars, but just spout their own opinions. this book does get people reading and discussing or thinking of the message, under the author's guidelines. Some of the messages are the author's view. Not an ecumenical writer, not open to other faiths or views.

Ron Rhodes takes you through the New Testament in a very insightful way. With lots of references from the Bible and thoughtful dialogue, the book gives the reader much to think about as they work their way through the New Testament. It works great for a Bible study with several people or can be a daily devotional.

This book is so helpful in opening up the New Testament on so many areas I had never thought about. It is very thorough. The author is to be highly commended on his great book!

well written, well-versed... If you like a man who talks from Christian Scriptures, this book may be for you. Ron Rhodes, gives us a true biblical meaning to out lives!

An excellent way to get to know the New Testament in a relatively short time. It's not reading Matthew to Revelation. Rather, it's reading in chronological order and that's great for some folk including me who prefer to see things in the order in which they happened. There are some helpful notes at the end of each segment giving you some insight and help with particularly difficult verses. If you like structured reading then this is the book for you. Not preachy, just helpful.
