Radius Garden Root Slayer Root Spade Red Round Head Shovel

After reading reviews I was a little concerned about the weight. The item does have some weight to it, but is sturdy. As its for digging & chopping out roots it does need to be good quality with some weight to it. Only used twice so far & it's great. Cuts through general roots really well. You obviously have to put some effort in to cutting thicker roots. Works really well. Value for money, will get more items from this range.

Great spade. Amazing at cutting through tough and root filled earth. I was sceptical, but it’s well worth the money and has made my landscape project much easier.

Would never be without this tool, it is truly amazing. The only tool to slice through bamboo roots with ease. If I need to did where no fork can tackle I use the root slayer. Best tool I have bought.

This is a heavy spade which is the only disadvantage. It cuts through shrub roots and the smaller tree roots brilliantly. Much easier than using a normal spade so worth its money.

Excellent tool, got a lot of heft to it, rips through roots and takes a lot of weight. Feels like it's going to last a long time.

This has been a life saver in my multi-weekend quest to remove the roots of 10m of hedge roots and a couple of trees. The design is spot on - the circular handle really helps with your grip when levering up the roots with both hands, the pointed tip and serrated edges carve through all but the thickest roots, and the top of the shovel head is bent over 90 degrees either side of the shaft to form small platforms for your feet to apply your bodyweight. A genuinely great tool that I strongly recommend.

Great at digging up shrubs or into piles/bulk bags of soil. Chops through small roots ok. The handle is a good shape/design and makes moving the spade around easier than other spades

This shovel is heavier than other shovels I purchased in the past. The circular handle is an awesome feature. The blades cut into the grass and dirt with such ease. I highly recommend this shovel to anyone that wants a high quality shovel at an affordable price.

Super Spaten bin sehr zufrieden, es liegt gut in der Hand

J'ai planté 90 arbustes comprenant des arbres etc... Mon sol est plein de racines et cet outil c'est de la folie. Elle est arrondie donc très facile de faire des ronds pour planter ensuite. On peut creuser et planter en 5 minutes un arbuste... elle découpe les racines très facilement. Solide, poignée pratique . Bref l'outil incontournable pour celui qui veut planter ou transplanter petit arbre , arbustes et plantes !
