Great trap!
These work really well! Very sticky! They are easy to use. Can be used as an open trap or you can fold it into a little box so the adhesive is contained. I initially bought these specifically to catch geckos and lizards. They are very much unwanted in and around the house. Traps work great! They have caught geckos, ants, roaches, centipedes and so many other critters. But I surprisingly caught a rat on one of these that I set outside my front door. Never would have known that the rats were that close to the house. These traps are great!

No Longer Terrorized by Mice
I live in a large complex, and have had issues of rodents traveling in between the apartments in my building since I moved in. They travel in between the gas line for the stove. Management has been largely ineffective at eliminating or controlling the rodents. I have an extreme phobia of rodents. A couple of months ago, I saw five mice in my apartment at the same time scurrying across my floor, so I knew that I had to take matters into my own hands. I immediately went on line to search for a solution. Before purchasing this brand, I was not familiar with this brand. I settled on this brand based on the number of positive reviews along with photos of snakes and other critters that were caught using these traps. These glue trapped seemed to be promising based on product reviews and photos. Because the only place they are entering and exiting my apartment is through the gas line to my stove, I decided to create a mega glue trap. I cut the excess paper from the traps and glued 3 traps together. I then proceeded to attach another row of 3, and yet another row of 3, and then I slid the super wide and long trap under my stove. I immediately caught 2. I called maintenance and had them remove the trap with the rodents on them, and glued 9 traps again in the same manner as before. This method has been very effective for me. This is the only way I intend to use this product. I can say for the first time in over ten years, I am no longer terrorized by rodents. Before I took matters into my own hands, they were making nightly appearances almost every night without fail. And, every time I saw them, I would scream at the top of my voice and run. Management was putting down traps similar to these that they assembled into boxes. They were also using the black plastic traps with the bait openings. The mice would just avoid those traps. They were 100% ineffective and I could not get their exterminators to purchase the large rat glue traps. Creating a wide glue trap was more effective for me given how they were entering my apartment. The odds were 100% that when they entered through the gas pipe, I would catch them because my glue trap covered almost the entire surface area under my stove. But in addition to that, these traps have a strong off-putting smell that, I believe, is deterring the mice from entering my apartment through the pipes. They have an over-powering smell that I find to be nauseating. I notice it every time I enter the kitchen. Fewer mice are entering my kitchen, which I believe is due to this smell. These have been 100% effective for me when glued together to create a large glue trap. The only downside for me is that I no longer have access to my stove for baking, and I am an avid cook. Because I have a counter convection oven, I have other baking options. However, I miss cooking in my oven. But for now, this is the best option for me. I am no longer terrorized by the rodents in my apartment.

Bulk Pack That Covers a Lot of Ground, but Mixed Results
Bulk Pack That Covers a Lot of Ground, but Mixed Results The Catchmaster Max-Catch glue traps are a practical option if you need wide coverage quickly. With 36 boards in a pack (and even larger bulk sizes available), you can place them all over the house, garage, or shed. They’re easy to set up—just peel the paper and drop them along walls or behind appliances. I liked that they’re non-toxic, which makes them safer to use around pets and kids compared to poisons or sprays. Performance, though, is hit or miss. In some spots these caught mice and bugs right away, while in other areas the glue seemed less effective and pests walked around them. The adhesive is very sticky when fresh, but over time (especially in humid spots) it can lose tackiness. The “scented” version smells faintly like peanut butter, which may help draw pests, but it’s not always strong enough to lure a cautious mouse. Another thing to keep in mind is cleanup—because these are open glue boards, you will occasionally catch unintended insects (or dust), and once something’s stuck, the whole board usually has to be tossed. They’re definitely not the most humane option, either, so that’s worth considering. Bottom line: A cost-effective way to blanket a problem area with traps, and they do work—just not consistently in every situation. Best for supplementing other pest control methods rather than relying on these alone.

Easy pest control and monitoring
These nontoxic paper traps are great for catching roaches and other floor crawlers. The traps can be left for days or weeks and used as surveillance on pest activity. I fold them first before constructing. Be careful of glue as they are very sticky. Also be sensible about placing them where pets can find them.

Excellent for mice & insects. Faint peanut butter scent (not bothersome). RECOMMENDED.
Excellent quality product (Catchmaster MAX). One of the larger sized glue trap products. We've purchased several times. 5 stars, recommended -- but the other Catchmaster glue traps (unscented, and/or some slightly smaller versions) are good as well. Faint scent (fake peanut butter?) may or may not help with insects, but might be useful for mice. We're sticking with this version (versus the plain/unscented version), due to good results in the past. We caught several small mice in an older home, using these. The traps also catch all sorts of small crawling & flying insects, which is nice in warmer, humid climates. We always put one trap (flat) on the floor under a nightlight, which attracts some small flying insects as well. We've even used these (flat) near a fireplace, to catch a bat crawling out under the glass doors. Tip for MICE: put the glue trap (flat) inside an empty cardboard 12-pack soda box, with end flaps removed. Cut a small hole on top so you can see the trap inside. Makes for easy, no-touch disposal of mice. Also, read the directions/tips that come with the traps, especially for mice.

They work great, but only when the mice don't eat them!
In theory these should be great. They are convenient, when they work. Just pick it up, and toss it in the trash. And they are cheap. You can scatter a lot of them around. The problem I've had is that they are too attractive to the mice! They have a peanut butter scent, which I suppose is supposed to attract the mice. And it does. The problem is that the mice find them SO attractive that they simply eat them. Yes, yes, I do remove the wax paper from the adhesive. Then I fold it, and insert the tab. And place it where I know that there are mice. About 1 out of every 6 catches a mouse. The other 4-5 end up at least half eaten. I kid you not. I have NO idea how they do it. But I've had to switch back to the old fashioned mechanical mouse traps.

Effective pest control with strong adhesive, but requires careful placement
Performance: These glue traps are incredibly effective for catching a variety of household pests, from small insects to rodents. The professional-grade adhesive is impressively strong—once a pest makes contact, there is very little chance of escape. I found them particularly useful for placing along baseboards and in dark corners where pests tend to travel. The fact that they lay completely flat makes them much more accessible than some of the bulkier plastic-rimmed alternatives. Design & Versatility: The "Max-Catch" design is simple but highly functional. These traps are foldable, allowing you to create a "tunnel" shape. This is a great feature if you're placing them in dusty areas like a garage or basement, as it prevents the glue from being covered in debris and losing its stickiness. The 36-pack is an outstanding value, allowing for "blanket coverage" across a large home, which is often the key to successful pest management. Usability (The 4-Star Reason): While the glue is excellent for catching pests, it is extremely unforgiving. If you accidentally touch it or if a pet's paw or a stray piece of fabric brushes against it, it is very difficult to remove without a specialized solvent or oil. Because the traps are lightweight, they can also occasionally flip over or move if not secured, which can lead to a sticky mess on flooring. A slightly weighted base or a more user-friendly way to handle the "live" edges would make them perfect. Verdict: This is a reliable, non-toxic, and highly effective way to manage a pest problem. They offer incredible coverage for the price and work exactly as advertised. Just be sure to place them in low-traffic areas where they won't be accidentally stepped on, and you’ll find them to be a top-tier tool for home maintenance. 4 stars.

Best sticky pads
I have to say this product is very good, I wish they came in round pieces to and half or and option to make them half. Once something lands that's it nothing is getting through. Please keep the product tightly, I did have to cut a lot of extra over hang. U don't want to give this bugs a millimeter. It is an amazing product. One of the best I found, I had to get the glue off the floor with paint thinner. Paint thinner N vinegar kills. Also spreading diatomaceous earth on my entire floor N the pads it did its job. One request is to add more for the price specifically for round sections. Please keep this pads and diatomaceous earth for 2 months minimum so u can make sure they die within 10 days or depending on how much diatomaceous earth u added. The pads and the powder it does and amazing job saving your furniture but u must take action asap. I like this because It doesn't attract much dust like some and is thick glue. U can rip it off the floor n it will still be reusable. Again in a different ares where don't play with your beds, n quality furniture. If you keep the pads and shake furniture ect everything will drop and it will all stick. Not allowing the bugs and inch. U must keep on vacuuming. Note not to vacuum diatomaceous earth with ur vacuum can get plugged, I washed my filters with boiling water every single time. Bisel $20 dollar vacuum was amazing N u can wash the plastic hepa filter. Bag it N put it outside. Please spend the money on the pads are worth every penny. Put the diatomaceous earth in every Crack ect of your furniture. U must bag all your close and to make sure no transfers strip outside before your vehicle. I also had the sticky pads in closets anywhere where is going towards your room, keep on checking the pads, don't by pads with design. Plain white is the best, you can spread the powder all over the entire, covet the floors in case one is hidden, remember this bugs can live a long time.

Works fast and holds tight!
I keep my apartment as sealed as possible against roaches and other pests. The one place I can’t fully access is behind the bathroom sink because of how the drawer was built underneath it; getting in there would risk breaking something or causing water damage. Sure enough, we spotted a roach one night and I couldn’t get it in time. I ordered these traps and placed them around the bathroom. In less than 24 hours, I caught it. The trap that did the job was actually placed above my medicine cabinet mirror, which surprised me in a good way. I like that these come ready to use and that there are so many in the pack. It made it easy to set multiple traps without feeling like I had to ration them. I now keep the drain plugged when it’s not in use, but just in case, I’ve already put down a replacement trap. So far, these have worked exactly as I hoped. I really hope I don’t need to buy another box, but if I do, I’ll come right back here. Great product, and a big relief.
