Great Bluetooth Keyboard - so glad I got one!
I love this keyboard! It folds up nicely into a long, compact bar, and when folded the keys are protected from dirt, etc. Like another reviewer suggested, I used a pony tail band around it to keep it folded up while not in use in my purse. A case would be nice, and I scanned Amazon briefly and couldn't find one to fit, but will be on the lookout for something suitable. I temporarily put it in a ziploc bag to protect it from liquids, rain, etc while in transport in my purse or carry bags. Not the most elegant solution, but it works for now. If anyone finds a good case solution, please post! It seemed to have some power when I got it, but I charged it before trying to pair with any of my devices. It didn't take long to charge, but I am not sure how much charge it had when it arrived. It has simple instructions included, which were easy to follow. It was super easy to pair with my HTC OneM8 phone and my Kindle Fire HDX 8, and worked with no lag or problems in communication. Keyboard has a different touch than the ones on my laptops, and is a bit smaller, but I had no trouble typing on it, although I was typing a bit slower at first. I will probably speed up as I get more familiar with the size and touch of the keyboard. All in all, it is so much better than the virtual keyboards on the devices, and well worth the expense! This makes web browsing and doing emails really nice! It opens up the possibilities of using my phone and tablet to their full potential! I showed it to a friend, and they were very impressed, and wanted one immediately! I hope it lasts a long time.

First unit was defective, replacement works great.
Update: Replacement keyboard works fine, I ran it through it's paces once I received it. I'm glad that I stuck with this keyboard, I'm giving it 4 stars. Quick Tip: On Android devices, holding down the Alt/Option key while pressing enter will send the message so you don't have to do it through the touchscreen. Until I figured this out, my only gripe with the keyboard was that there was no dedicated Send button to send a text, and pressing just Enter by itself would just start a new line. OLD REVIEW: Upon receipt of the BATTOP keyboard, I was excited to use it for work. Iโm a field service technician and I often need to text back and forth with the office throughout the day. Using the little touch keyboard on my phone can get irritating after constant texting and emailing. I liked the fact that this device would pair with both my Android and iOS devices and even Windows. It looks and feels sturdy and gives the impression that it wonโt break when put into my backpack with all of my other gadgets. (I stole one of my wifeโs hair bands to keep the keyboard from opening while it was in my backpack) I love that it has a built in rechargeable battery and a ledge to put my phone on while typing. It paired immediately with my Galaxy S5 and Android even recognized it as a bluetooth keyboard. Unfortunately the first time I used it, the โAโ key got stuck and wouldnโt release. Iโll be returning the product for a refund. Based on the all of the good reviews of this product and because I think this little keyboard suits my needs better than any other Bluetooth keyboard Iโve seen so far, Iโll probably get another and hope for the best. Iโll update my review accordingly.

cute toy
Not sure how useful this will be but I like the folded size. Too bad the nylon cover / bag is too small to fit the folded keyboard.

BATTOP Foldable Keyboard works well for me!
I have been very impressed by this little keyboard. In spite of it's small size it has been easy to use. The only key I have found trouble with is the backspace, or "Delete" key, because it is just enough different from the placement in my regular keyboard. I am able to type without looking that keys, much like I can on a typewriter or regular computer keyboard. I think it is even easier to use than the keyboard on my school laptop! I can't speak to the battery life at this time. I just haven't used it enough to need to recharge it. It was easy to set up with my Kindle. The directions were small print but entirely adequate. I expect to use the portable keyboard for email and notetaking on a regular basis. My son and wife will probably want one for their tablets, too.

Useless, waste of money.
Cheap Chinese crap. Probably cost $2.00 to make. Won't hold a 9.7 in. Samsung Tab 2 in horizontal. Just falls over. My documents are vertical not horizontal! I read and followed all instructions, charged then paired the keyboard. Tried typing and it kept stopping mid-sentence. Useless for typing. When I shut it off and tried to put it in its supplied nylon bag it will not fit. Tried to squeeze it in and it started ripping. Not good for anything. Going to return it in the morning!

Very useful little keyboard!
I'm suitably impressed with this little keyboard. It's convenient, not bad looking when folded, and very useful. My biggest problem with the usability of any of my portables has been that I'm a bit clumsy and have largish fingers, making it nearly impossible to enter anything longer than a password on those little screens. Even using a stylus I make frequent password mistakes on my phone. The "kickstand" at the back of the keyboard does a good job of positioning the screen at a good angle for seated typing. This little folding keyboard has been very useful for me, with my tablets but especially with my phone. The keyboard has a good battery life (I've never run it all the way down), it pairs quickly and easily and it lets me use my ingrained typing skills so I don't have to think as much about HOW I'm going to enter something, I just have to think about what I'm going to enter. The keyboard is fairly cramped, but being highly portable I'm entirely willing to forgive that and anyway it's really not that much worse than my laptop's keyboard. The only reason I don't give this a 5 is that, being folding, it tends to fold easily, but that also means that it tends to fold some if it's not supported. Even though I knew it was a folding keyboard, I failed to anticipate this and one of the biggest reasons I got it was to type some while reclined in my chair. It's usability suffers a good bit if you try to use it on an uneven, unsupported surface such as your lap or leg or some such. A book or a flattish pillow will do well for many people, and I suspect that if your lap isn't too uneven, a decent magazine or a section of newspaper might work for you. Your mileage may vary. When all is said and done, I really like this little keyboard and I'm quite happy with it because it has greatly increased my ability to use my smaller electronics.

A solid Bluetooth mobile keyboard
I wanted a Bluetooth keyboard to compliment my Dragon Touch X10 tablet for those times that I needed to type more than just a URL. I researched a lot of folding Bluetooth keyboards before buying this one. Many of the others I looked at folded up to a shorter but wider profile that would fit in your back pocket. That was definitely a nice selling point, but on the reviews for those models the customers that bought them were complaining the right Shift key was improperly placed, and the "e" key didn't respond well due to its location on the folding section. With those comments in mind, I paid close attention to the keyboard layout and the BATTOP was the only model that mimicked a true QWERTY keyboard with a different folding pattern. The instructions were perfect in walking me through the pairing process and I had no issues whatsoever. I even paired it with my Samsung Galaxy S5. The buttons have a nice feel and don't click like a cheap plastic keyboard. The keys are laid out exactly as I would expect including the right Shift key. On both my X10 tablet and S5 phone, typing was flawless. The keyboard folds up very nicely but it is long and has some weight, but it's by no means a deal breaker. It would be great if a padded sleeve was available for the keyboard. I'll use a sock until I can get something more classy.

it worked fine, but died too soon
The keyboard died in about 9 months. When it was okay, it worked fine, but died too soon. When I attempted to charge it, it looks like it's charging with the red light on. But it would not turn on and connect to devices. After this broke, I've been using an old Logitec bluetooth keyboard -- that one is still working after 5+ years. The drawback of my old keyboard is that it doesn't fold, so it's not convenient to carry around. The folding is a good feature for the BATTOP, although it's a little thick to be truly portable. I'm looking for a new replacement right now, and decided to leave a review, because I found reviews useful on what I'm looking for.
