This pole is pretty nice. I needed telescoping to reach my metal roof. This does a good job. When it's extended all the way it gets a little loose and sloppy and you can't apply as much pressure as you might like - in my case I need it to get the roof clean. Sometimes it's a little difficult to enlarge or shrink as dirt can get into the poles and that will cause some friction. Not a big deal, you just unscrew the latches that allow the poles to lock and move them. The acme thread at the end is just what I need to fit my brush; it's universal and will fit anything with female thread (not metric) I've had it for a while, and though I don't use it but maybe 3-4 times a year, it's done what I needed it to do.

I understand why most poles don’t go beyond 21 feet. I bought this with the goal of clearing snow off my roof, using a different attachment. Many reviews I read said people didn't have issues using it fully extended. As soon as I started to extent it around 20 feet it started to bend on me. I didn’t make it to the full extension before I gave up. I couldn’t get a good angle nor enough weight to get snow off my roof. For reference, my roof line starts around 15 feet. I’ll keep it to clean my second floor windows but that’s about it. For me it was a waste of money. If you only need it for 20 feet or so then it will work fine.

I purchased another version of this 30' pole. When I brought it up after extended all the pieces, the top wobbled so bad I had to regain my balance to bring it down, but before I could that, the second thinnest piece bent about 30 degrees. I tried to bend it back so I could at least fully retract the pole, but have not been able to do so. Checking on Amazon, I discovered I was two days past the return period. So, I guess it doesn’t matter if it retracts since I will have to cut it up for disposal anyway.

Rarely do reviews because the products are just okay.Not this one which is outstanding.I bought it to roll my chimney from the ground and it looks great.It was delivered two weeks early and was a good price.It even comes with a feature at the tip where you can screw in a roller and has an adjustable tip which allows you to angle the work.Nice to finds Waltons Mountain utility in the age of cheapness.

The pole is good quality, sturdy and extends easily. The mop like end and it's attachment to the pole is not so great. It flops around rather than stays in place so cleaning a ceiling fan blade is not a simple exercise. I'm going to have to duct tape the end to get it to not flop around. Annoying but on the bright side, the pole is great quality and this is fixable.
