Charcoal Facial Detox

I have dry sensitive skin and live in a very dry climate. I worried this was going to be too drying for me or would effect my moisture barrier. It's not at all! It's great. I find it gentle enough for my sensitive skin. It does have a smell and a bit of tingle but I really enjoy it. And it is quite concentrated so you only need a small amount of product. I can see this bottle lasting quite a while. It also does a good job of removing makeup.

I first found this stuff in Marshall's for $5.99. I was buying it religiously, but I have not seen it in stock for a while :( I bought other face cleansers there to hold me over until they got it back in again, but sadly I still haven't seen any. (It's always hit or miss in Marshall's - I'd know, I worked there for 5 years) I loved it so much I bought it on here for FIFTEEN DOLLARS. More than twice what I paid in store. But I really do like it that much. It leaves my face feeling squeaky clean! Doesn't dry my skin out at all.Please consider lowering this price. As great a this product is, $15 for face cleanser of this size is kinda steep.****Updated****I don’t care that I can never find it in Marshalls cheaper anymore. I’ve still been buying this on amazon at this price because I love it. Great product and my face feels amazing after using this at the end of the day to remove all my makeup. 5 starts😊

We found this product at a TJ Maxx years ago and had been trying to find it ever since. It is soft on skin, but leaves skin feeling refreshed and smooth. My husband has sensitive skin, and he has issues with drying with many face washes, but not this one! It may be more pricey than the average face wash, but it is worth the money. The only downfall to this product is that the scent is a bit odd - not gross, just different than "usual" face wash.

I first found this facial cleanser at a shop in Irvine, CA, quite a way from my home, but something about the informative and clever packaging called out to me, to say nothing of the well-known detoxifying effect of charcoal. When I got home with it and used it for the first time, all I could think of was "Where am I going to find this weird black stuff closer to home?" Enter Amazon, as usual, and I couldn't be happier. I'm only halfway through my first bottle, but bought another so I won't accidentally find myself without it for a single moment when I do run out. My skin has gone haywire after a very invasive C02 laser resurfacing about a year ago and I'd been searching for a product that won't exacerbate what's already a tenuous situation; something that never happened before, I now break out now if I so much as LOOK at chocolate or junk food. Or wash my face too often, which is a sin the media doesn't often tell you about. So, back to the lean proteins, fresh fruits and vegetables for me. In any event, this product, which also comes in bar soap form (but this is more convenient and less messy for me), is going to forever be on my "need" list!

Does everything the label says it will do. My favorite product for years now. strong enough to clean deep and leave the skin feeling clean and natural

I have been using this product for about a year now and I absolutely LOVE it. Amazon ran out and a different seller had some bottles for sale (seller: Planet Stuff) so I bought a bottle for $15, continued to use the last of my other (authentic) bottle and did not realize they only offered a 30 day return policy. 45 days after purchase, I opened the bottle and used it. I immediately knew something was wrong with it...it was more of a CLEAR COLOR with just a ting of black where the real item is solid black and will stain your clothes and washcloth if you get it on them. The texture was way off as well - it was a strange GOOPY texture, not silky like the real stuff. It also dried out my skin whereas the real stuff always left my skin feeling soft and glowing. I would advice anyone to purchase this item but not from Planet Stuff...beware of them. They would not return their item nor offered any kind of apology. I thought Amazon weeded out their sellers better than this. I, as a seller, would never offer anything that wasn't authentic and there are many more like me out there. It's too bad people like this give honest seller's (like myself) a bad reputation in online selling. I wish I could return this item but I am stuck with it.

I was excited to get this since I use food grade charcoal to brush my teeth. Brushing my teeth is messy, but it always cleans up great. That is not the case with the Charcoal Facial Detox. The product works fine, but my washcloths for rinsing are RUINED! I washed them. but the residue did not come out after washing. I am very upset because there was no mention of this being a downside to the product. Any suggestions as to how to save my washcloths would be appreciated!

I have purchased this product twice, mostly because I think it’s a great value for the product. I like charcoal based products, I find they are less harsh on my skin. I only use my hands for applying this face wash, I do not use a brush or cloth of any kind.Pros: cost, availability, I also like that you can get this in a bar (though I did not purchase that) so it’s versatile and meets your preference - product maintains my skins condition (mostly clear skin, rarely wear makeup - maybe a few times year), it’s not harsh on my skin - it’s cruelty freeCons: I think if you were using this product to wash off makeup daily, you would definitely need to use a cloth or other non-harsh/extra-soft brush as there is no exfoliant in this product ... also, it just maintains my skin it doesn’t do anything for the occasional pimple(s)/blackheads, it’s just a standard daily wash
