REED Instruments R8070SD Data Logging Sound Level Meter

I really needed a good sound meter for work that I could set up for a long period of time. The reed meter is larger than I expected, but that's because it can hold 6 AA batteries. Once set up on a tripod (does not come with) you just need an SD card and the meter does the rest. Readings occur at an interval you set and then are added to an excel document that is easy to generate a chart with. Comes with a really nice carrying case as well. I do recommend purchasing the Reed calibration tool alongside this, but it came perfectly calibrated. Very happy with it.
