They really do work.
I use these under my 60th Abnniversary AT turntable, see pic. Since i was able to listen fairly extensively prior to receiving and placing these, I can say with confidence they reduce the audible booming from theturntabke that can result from big vibration, ie my sub is directly to the left of that stack. While my sub is on a small size Auralex SubDude II (highly recommended if you have a basement or crawlspace), there is some significant vibration at times. The soundstage overall is quieter with these in place. I think they are a reasonably priced addition that does, in this use case, make an audible difference.

Left Residue
Didn't see this in the product description, but these are oily and stick like putty might on all sides. I was surprised, especially when they left big, greasy circles on my wood table top. Those did wipe off with water, but would have been nice to know in advance.

Depends on usage
These seem ideal for things like speakers/subs, but depending on your setup, it can also help things like a turntable. Initially, they didn't show much difference when I was using an Ortofon Concorde body and their "Arkiv" stylus; however, some time later I upgraded to a Ortofon 2M Black (and also moved my setup around). Not sure if it was the move and/or the 2M Black (or the combination of the two) but I figured I'd try these again to see if there was a difference. To test I monitored my "recording levels" while the needle was simply contacting a record (not playing the record though....ie not rotating). The noise floor was visible on the recording meters and doing things like touching the desk, jumping, putting foot down heavily, etc would register. There was considerably less movement in the meters when the turntable was on the sorbothane pads.

Effective damping, somewhat sticky texture adheres adequately but not strongly to smooth surfaces
The softer grades of Sorbothane. including this one, tend to have a sticky feeling surface. As a result, these do adhere adequately to smooth surfaces. If you need strong adhesion, look for Sobothane with 3M adhesive. Despite the sticky feel, these do not seem to leave a residue though they might stain some materials after prolonged contact. If that is a concern, place a protective material underneath. I used two of these for vibration damping on the back panels of two small fans. Adhesion to a smooth area of the panel (the foil label) was adequate, and it won't matter if it leaves a stain on the surrounding plastic. However, when I tried to install two on the same panel, I found that adhesion to the slightly textured plastic area was not adequate, and they fell off. For use on textured surfaces, look for Sorobothane with 3M adhesive coating on one side.

Even70 duro collapse, broke apart useless junk
Preface to know I have bought dozens of various Isolate It sorbothane products. The 30 duro in general is not suitable for the weights Isolate It claims it is good for This product /2" tall. 1.5 diameter 30 duro is rated for 7 lb to 17 lb EACH. And using the 4 under a 47lb audio equipment object, they were destroyed after just a few months flattened and permanently distorted and useless. Also other versions in 30 duro also same flattened and ultimately worthless. Where the 50 duro and 70 duro do not suffer the same failures. So if you plan on using a 30 duro sorbothane device, be aware it cannot be used under anything near the upper limit, or even the middle of the weight limit suggested by the company. I strongly suggest for success do not use the 30 duro, use either a 50 duro or 70 duro, unless the item is only a pound or three in weight. So I am adding to the previous review, and want to note the 1.5 dianeter 70Duro self destructed under a 86 lb electronic gear. The Isolate It sorbothane puck split apart and slipped out in various ways, from under the device. They are destroyed. Useless. Calling Isolate It seems to also be useless. I seriously have to say this product is garbage for ANY heavy equipment. Sad to say. As I had high hopes for it. For light equipment, they seem to work OK. But anything over 30 pounds, no matter the claim by Isolate It. they cannot hold the product up without failing within a month or two.

Not for car.
Maybe for home use. In car they melt.

Excellent for turntable isolation
These are excellent feet to isolate turntable vibration.

Too soft, become mushy and uneven.
For my turntable it made it hard to keep balanced and square as each pad was too soft and collapsed at different rates.
