This is the one.
I think this is the best aquarium gravel vacuum you can buy for the money. All the fancy electric vacuums on the market are gimmicks and frustrating to use. The python reigns supreme in simplicity, quality, and size options. Highly recommend this solution to anyone needing a good gravel vac... Just make sure you get the correct size for the tank(s) you are trying to clean.

Look carefully at each picture
Ok, I know the pictures are a bit confusing, but if you look carefully, you can zoom in on the label and see what size the tube vacuum actually is, so don’t look at the size and proportion provided by Amazon. Next, you can research the specific tube vac on google to get a better idea/image of the product. I bought the 16 in/41 cm vacuum aka large and it was perfect, I no longer have to bend so far down into my 50 gal long aquarium. With anything shorter than the 16 in, aka my previous standard aqueon gravel vac, I literally have to squeeze myself partly into the tank to reach the gravel and do a thorough gravel vac since I have goldfish and they produce a lot of waste. I understand people saying the suction is not strong enough but there’s lots of factors to consider for that, tubing length, vacuum tube length, and also depth of aquarium. Though the tube length is usually talked about, I also want to bring up that to those of you who have long tubing extensions like me, that also reduces the suction. I only have my aquarium filled up to about 35 gallons but the 16 in (large) gravel vac I bought was perfect. I loved it, more so since I don’t have to squeeze myself into my aquarium anymore to reach the bottom. The suction was not as strong as my previous shorter gravel vac. @ 12 in but way worth it. Still sucks at medium high strength which is actually pretty good because I don’t have to rush as much to make sure all my water doesn’t drain before I finish cleaning my aquarium. The tubing is very soft and flexible, love it, don’t have to tug to much like my previous one. Loved the price as well, this is definitely a steal on python products, do buy.

Great for siphoning horse trough
Awesome, simple object for doing the job I needed. It is long enough to hang outside of the water trough and doesn’t get clogged up easily. Decent price for it as well.

Large python water changer makes large water changes very easy-- just be careful of small fish!
For my large guppy tanks in which I breathe plants and Guppies, there is always a lot of waste to be removed and a smaller unit simply would not do the trick. I have always used larger diameter cleaners such as this python unit due to the fact that I don't have a lot of time to waste with smaller diameter tubes, and this worked like a charm! The one thing I would be careful of and caution other fish freezers about is to put a piece of mesh on the top end of the unit so that you do not inadvertently get weak or small fish such as fry sucked out of your tank. That's the only drawback to using this large of a water siphon. Overall very happy with the purchase so far, and python products are very reputable! Just be careful of the strong section for your small fish!

OMG This is Perfect!!!
I needed a longer tubed siphon to clean the substrate of my 29 since those are deeper than all my other tanks. At 18 inches deep for a 29 gal, it's much harder to gravel vac with the regular tube I had. This tube size is correctly labeled at 20 inches. I saw all sorts of sizes listed when I asked the question, so maybe the reviewers were reviewing different siphons, because this one is definitely 20 inches long for the tube portion that attaches to the siphon hose. Perfect length for getting to the bottom of my 29 so I"m not drenched to the armpits! And the price was great at $10! Well worth it. I wish I could swap it out on my Python, but those connections are really glued in well on that green portion. My smaller ones easily come off. I think after a longer time of using it, maybe that connection would ease up, or maybe it's just that I am a weakling, LOL. But, it's not an issue for me right now as my faucet is not working properly with my Python anyway, sooo hence this purchase. Again, love it and highly recommend for the deeper tanks like a 29 gallon which is 18 inches deep. This brand is great quality as well. I have accidentally stepped on other ones I've had and they have not cracked! They are very well made. I recommend highly.

Good Gravel Washer With Dealbreaker Functionality
This gravel washer is very well built the hose stays in place and attached to the tube very well unlike other gravel washers that i have used that tends to come apart at this area. The only things that i dislike about the gravel washer is the way you have to start it you have to submerge the entire gravel washer hose and all, make sure the whole thing is filled with water put your finger over the hose end and bring it up and out of the tank and into your bucket or whatever you are draining the water into then remove your finger then it starts, the problem with this whole process is that you have to stick you whole arm in the tank, freak/stress out your fish, and then repeat the process if your container fills up and you have to empty it and come back and take more water out of your tank. I may try the add on pump bulb to see if it make the process more efficient.
