Most wave makers have specific outputs that only work with similar power heads. I thought that was the case with this, but it isn't. This outputs standard 110 V AC and can be used with any standard power head.The pumps ended up being way too big for my aquarium (60 gal), and I spent about $130 more for this "package" than I would have spent on just the controller here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005TJCU0U/ref=psdc_2975475011_t3_B01LYWVJAE and reused my perfectly good power heads.Unless you have a brand new 110 gallon setup with no power heads whatsoever, then this kit is overkill.As for the controller, it's ok... I'm quickly considering an upgrade to a DC setup since AC powerheads click loudly every time they turn on.

I love this product it really works is not cheap but it gets the job done, works the way I expected.great for the fishes and keeps the water moving, I keep it on 24/7 some people like to turn them off at night, not me the river or the sea does not turn off at night, that is why you should have caves- plants and places where your fish goes when sleeping.

I bought this to replace several higher wattage pumps in my 75 gallon salt water aquarium. These pumps are very strong and very quiet. The timer is very easy to set up and stop and starts the pumps quietly. I've owned this system for several months now and have not had any problems -still very strong and very quiet.

Controller great product actual pumps make a loud noise them kicking on for about ten seconds then stops which if you have them set on a short time span then it gets rather noisy.

Awesome for price.

Not a terrible system, but you can find better wave systems with more flow options, etc. for less $. Controls are very analog which is inconvenient. One of my hydor pumps had difficulty running for long periods and would need to be disassembled to get running again
