No battery drain!
Bought these to use on motorcycles. Have 3 of them so they definitely work. They have an integrated switch that shuts them off if the power gets to low or 1 hour after the ignition is shut off. Have been using them for 3 years now with no issues.

Good enough to ironman the Baja 1000; too smart for its own good sometimes
Excellent! Powered my handlebar electronics to ironman the Baja 1000. My only complaint is that voltage fluctuations can fake it into thinking the battery voltage is low, consequently shutting it off. On my 2-stroke bike running a light that consumes all available excess wattage from the stator, it kept turning off if the bike was idling. When I plugged in a cheap "dumb" charger, no problems. Good to know! I will have one in my pouch for Baja this year but have switched to a longer wired model ffrom Optimate for simplicity.

Does not charge all the time
Only charges when on highway , I retuned it I need one that charges when I plug it in this looks well made but , their may be times when I need to charge my phone when I’m in a situation or just cruising slow around city streets

Dongle trickle charge
