Hope you keep carrying these Brita filters! We have the older model pitcher and use it every day!

I have a Classic pitcher, and filters are difficult to find. Glad I foud, and bought these. They fit Classic Brita pitchers and filter very well. Worth the purchase.

The 3 pack makes it economical to use an older Brits pitcher. They fit the pitcher just fine. NOTE: no replacement indicator rings come with these as they did in the past so hang on and reuse the one you are replacing.

Who would have thought the company would change the fit for my Britta pitcher. I took a chance and am glad I did. I did not want to toss my pitcher. There was nothing wrong with it.

Much improved design over an earlier model that I owned. The only drawback is that this newer design has to be poured slowly. Otherwise, water tends to splash out of the spout and onto the exterior casing. This occurs especially after I have filled the reservoir to the line under the lid. The other problem is that my pitcher is white plastic. It is extremely difficult to see the white line on white plastic! I have learned how to adjust to these differences and I really like this pitcher! The water is exceptionally clear and removes all taste of chlorine. Easy to store in the fridge or on the counter top.

We live in a soft water area, so my main reason for buying these was to use the filtered water on ericaceous plants, as the chlorine in the tap water was turning the leaves yellow, and it was cheaper than buying a water barrel and fixing guttering and downpipes from a shed roof. A few weeks later and the plant leaves are now green with lots of new green leaves appearing, so that worked well. I did try it in the kettle for making tea, but found that I needed more sugar in my tea, maybe because we are in a soft water area anyway, but I have tried making tea and coffee in hard water areas and found the taste really awful so would probably use filtered water all the time for making drinks in a hard water area.
