Works wonderfully on a variety of wires.
This item was easy for me to set up but 23 years of industrial maintenance helps out a lot. I can see where the common person may have challenges. It's geometry! Very slight adjustments to change from #12 to #10 wire. Great tool. We stripped thousands of feet of wire, all pieces were from one foot to five feet long. Took a very short amount of time by comparison to stripping the wire with a knife. Only drawback was in one of the eye bolts, the front one isn't long enough to be able to pull the wire in a downward motion like the image on the directions indicate. We decided not to use that front eyebolt and simply pull it to a slight angle downward. Worked like a champ.
