Mars Lander
This rocket is just like the one I built back in the 70's. It looks like they made a few upgrades but overall is just like the Estes model, they even have a balsa wood nose cone with the eye screw for the cord. It comes in a box with all the parts cut out already. Everything looks to be just right and the instructions are very clear. I can't wait to start building this one again. I have been looking for this for a long time. I'm glad I found it.

awesome model exactly like the Estes original version

Good kit, lacking details of the original.
Good reproduction of the original Estes kit. Good, detailed instructions are very helpful for construction and flight preparation. The embossing on the surface detail panels was poor but I did not need them as I was modifying the kit to resemble the Mars Ascent Vehicle, from the movie The Martian. Because these embossed panels were not up to the quality of the original kit the detail of the finished product may not meet the expectations of some buyers.
