Peacock Marbles

These are top-quality marbles elevated to the status of art. The grandkids loved them to replace missing marbles from the Chinese checkers game, and these appeared to bring them good luck. :) I recommend them to people who love shiny baubles and want backup pieces for Chinese checkers because they live with cats like I do.

HONESTLY AND THIS MAY SEEM SILLY TO THOSE READING BUT I EXPECTED JUST 5 MARBLES AS DISPLAYED IN THE PHOTO. LOL WHAT A GOOD DEAL I GOT ALL OF THEM JUST GORGEOUS AND SHINY FOR ONLY $1.90. I SEE THE PRICE HAS CHANGED SO GOOD LUCK SEEING THE PEACOCK MARBLES AT THAT PRICE AGAIN LOL. I HOPE TO GET THE BENGAL TIGER SET. THIS WAY I COULD HAVE TWO SETS THAT REFLECT TWO SPECIES OF ANIMALS OF INDIA LOL THE BENGAL SET LOOKS MESMERIZING SO RICH IN COLOR JUST LIKE THE TIGER LOL. I NOTICE THE PEACOCK MARBLES HAVE A LOT OF GLOSS THAT MAKE THEM LOOK FAINTLY RAINBOW IN THE LIGHT AND THE GREEN AND BLUE BENEATH. I THOUGHT THEY WOULD LOOK LIKE THE PHOTO. AHH WELL LIGHTING IS TRICKY LOL BUT I AM VERY PLEASED WITH MY DEAL. THEY ARE MADE IN MEXICO, AND NOT SOME ASIAN COUNTRY, IT HAS BEEN A WHILE SINCE I HAVE SEEN THAT! LOL COOL!

I bought these marbles to personalize our chinese checker game. Each person has their own set to play with. And each set was chosen based on their favorite animal. I love the quality of these marbles & the way it made one of our favorite family/friend games that much more special & fun!

These marbles are even better than I expected. They have a pearlescent look to them that really makes the blue and green stand out.

marbles are marbles -- they're glass, they're colorful, they roll. Except, these will be fired in a kiln to become a "watery well" in a pinch pot. They're color combination is what I was looking for.

They are among my favorite opaque marbles of this type. You can melt them into rods too.
