Excellent paper, truly sustainable notebook
These are excellent, sturdy notebooks. And if you write with a fountain pen, the ink will not bleed and obscure the other side of the page, which a lot of recycled-paper notebooks do. These notebooks are not made from paper or bamboo. They are imported from Egypt and made from sugarcane. It took me a long time to find sustainable notebooks that actually work with fountain pens, and these are it. (Sorry, Decompostion. Your notebooks are pretty, but they are not truly sustainable. Not when you're literally forced to used a ballpoint to write in them.) No more tossing the rollerballs into the landfill. Now you can do your daily journaling with a fountain pen and still be able to read it. And the paper is excellent. Fun to write on. Keep 'em comin' Egypt.

Sturdy notebooks with pockets!
I take lots of personal notes at work and in my life so having a solid notebook is key. While these are bit pricey, I’m super picky about my notebooks and LOVE these. They are sturdy, they have a pocket inside, the paper does not tear out super easily (like the notebooks that seem to randomly “shed” pieces of paper) but you can still remove pieces of paper if wanted/needed a I love the designs! I can totally see myself buying these again once I get through them :).

Very Nice Notebooks
These notebooks are very nice! I like that they are made of recycled materials. The designs are nice. I will definitely buy more of these! I initially bought them for my child for back to school, but I ended up keeping one for myself because I really liked it! It’s very sturdy and durable.

Very sturdy
These notebooks are perfect. Nice, modern design, hard thick front and back cover, many pages, sturdy spiral. The lines are brown which give it a cute twist

Wonderful eco-friendly journals.
I am enjoying using these journals for my daily musings. I love that the covers are a good sturdy cardboard. Spiral binding gives better access to each full page. I only wish that the spiral bindings were made of metal and not plastic for a more fully eco-friendly product.

MY HOLY GRAIL NOTEBOOKS
I'm old school with my note-taking. These notebooks are perfect. The wide sheets are great for left-handed people and for people with bigger handwriting like myself. The printed lines for writing are perfectly visible without being too distracting. I use pens on my notebooks and they never bleed through. They even come with slim folders in the beginning of the book. I reordered them for my classes next semester and I will never get any other kind of notebook again. LOVE THEM!!!

Low quality but cost effective
This is an instance of “you get what you pay for.” Plastic-free, eco-friendly notebooks are pricy, and these are on the low end of that cost spectrum. They’re also on the lower end of the quality spectrum. I could tell before I even unwrapped them that one of the notebooks had warped pages. When I opened it up, every page had at at least minor warping like very mild water damage. There appears to be no such damage to the cardboard cover or inner pocket, leading me to believe this damage occurred before assembly. That same notebook also had black streaks on the back top corners of several pages. I’m not even sure how that happened as the only instance of black ink anywhere on the notebook is the small barcode and distribution information on the outer back cover. None of this prevents the notebook from being used, it just doesn’t look nice. The other two notebooks didn’t have these damages from what I noticed when I flipped through them. The paper quality on all three notebooks is thin and flimsy. It’s still usable, but I wouldn’t try to write with anything heavier than a standard ball point pen, otherwise it is likely to bleed through. I may tear out a couple of the ink-smudged sheets and test various pens on them. Each notebook has 100 perforated sheets (200 total usable pages if you write front and back). The cardboard cover is as sturdy as a hard plastic cover but obviously not waterproof. It is rigid and will crease or possibly crack if you try to bend it. I subtract 1 star for the flimsy paper and 1 star for the damage to the one notebook.
