Joico K-Pak Reconstruct Split End Mender, 3.4Fl Oz

I had previously been using a discontinued Nexxus ProMend daily repair type split end serum, and boy was that plastic-y. My hands would feel like I'd been playing in molten plastic, and my hair would be coated in this odd, heavy, sticky layer of goop. It did the job, but the downsides were too many. Joico's K-Pak Split End Mender is so light in comparison. I squeezed one pump out and thought there was no way this thin, tiny amount of stuff could hold my previously platinum now level 2 black hair's ends together. I was totally wrong. So little product does so much work, and it's not gross, my hands aren't greasy or sticky, and I don't feel it all over my back. It adds no drying time to my routine either. A+ holy grail product. Will reorder until my haircut avoidance disorder is gone.

Honestly... The Tresemme split end mender worked a lot better than this... Haven't seen any results from using this product after a few months. The Tresemme product worked wonders! They discontinued it so I guess I'm still on the hunt for a good one!

I love it. I've been using it since before the packaging's new look, but the smell and consistency is about the same. I need a few days to really tell, but so far I love it like always.

The smell is the best part and it's not greasy. But not very long lasting. You will need to reapply....a lot.

I love this product. My hair was really dry on the ends and splitting so my hairdresser did not try to sell her products but recommended this because she used it on her hair. It smells great too.

It was a gift for someone, the person did not like the results

Saw this item in a hair salon I go to. It was regular price. So I thought to look it up online to get a discount. I got it almost half off on Amazon and it arrived super fast! Can't beat that.

I expect more from Joico. This didn't feel wonderful and didn't feel like it was helping anything. I guess, If you need this product. Get a trim first. It's more effective.

My hairdresser told me that he uses this in the salon as a hair smoother, loved it the first time he used it then made the purchase. I use it on dry hair just to smooth it down, just wonderful haven't been so pleased with a hair product for a while. I have greying fine hair that is prone to fluff out, not anymore

I used this product for the first time today after colouring and conditioning my hair and I was very impressed with the result. Did it mend my split ends? I'm not sure. But, did my hair look less fluffy - absolutely. Not only is my hair less fluffy after using this, but it is actually much more sleek and shiny. I am a new follower to the Joico range and this product is definitely on my shelf to stay.

I use this as a leave in conditioner and an alternative to mousse. It's lovely and smells gorgeous

Made my hair go tough I ended up with more split ends than what I started with..Not happy at all..

It leaves the ends of my hair sticky and hard but I guess it does prevent split ends. I would nor repurchase, I would not recommend it. Moroccan Oil works way better for me.
