Actually usable for FPS games. Once you install the software you can get rid of the strobing lights and set it to a constant colour of your choice. The analogue stick isn't the best but decent for the price point.

As some others have said, don't buy this specifically for the thumbstick - it works but it's a tertiary feature. What the mouse definitely does provide is great ergonomics and decent DPI, programmable buttons at a low price....plus RGB if you care about that. I've used vertical mice before for gaming but this is both the best ergonomic design and the only one I've found with decent, settable DPI for a small price. Solid recommend.

I paid a premium for this mouse because of the joystick feature hoping it would be useful on MMOs but all it does is mimic a keyboard, making a 'W' if you press forward or 'S' if you push back, rather than working like a true joystick. It didn't really work for Guild Wars 2. Otherwise it's a nice shape with ok build quality and the lights are quite nice looking.

In my opinion it's perfect for my needs. I was recently diagnosed with MS and have reduced feeling in my hands which made it hard to use a mouse and know where my fingers were in the buttons when in a horizontal position, I regularly and frustratingly kept clicking but nothing happening as my finger was not in the correct position and not noticing and having to look down and use other hand to correct. However with this vertical mouse it has reduced that to almost zero, and even made me able to use the scroll wheel again. Not to mention it's more comfortable to use for extended periods of time in this vertical orientated and decent size. Also the range of DPI setting is rather good and position of the toggle button to cycle through them is well located that even I am not accidental changing during use. Would highly recommend this mosque for those with tactile impairments and want to still use a daily mouse and even game again (not to high standards, but tbh I wasn't at high standards before losing function 😂 so your milage may vary) and anyone wanting a more ergonomical mouse for productivity work, I use it for CAD work regularly (hobbiest level).

I bought this mouse originally to relieve wrist pain, and it is excellently designed for comfort. I use the joystick for easy additional options when gaming. My hand is too small to reach the thumb buttons though, so I don't use those. People should be aware that the construction of this item is not the best. The scroll wheel specifically does not feel sturdy, has a flimsy texture, and I found out later the scroll wheel sensor is made of a material that doesn't stand up to high traffic use - when it's the most used part of the mouse. Within 1-2 years, the rest of the mouse will be fine, but the scroll wheel will start jumping erratically. I'm on my second one now when this became too annoying. It is an expensive mouse to only last 1-2 years, when cheaper ones will go for a decade. You would think it would not be that hard to make a durable mouse at this price point.

First Vertical mouse I've used that doesn't feel like it's trying to get away from you. If I had a criticism, it would be that the scroll buttons are just a little too far away for me to be comfortable.
