Our quest for exotic coffees led us to the grandmother of all spices -- coriander, probably one of the first spices used by mankind, having been known as early as 5000 BC. While cardamom is the most predominant spice added to Turkish coffee in the Middle East, coriander is the preferred spice for many North Africans. Berber Coffee is our own blend of the finest Central American coffees, freshly ground with fresh coriander added. All 1001 Coffees are freshly roasted and freshly ground blend of Costa Rican and Guatemalan beans that gives the rich strong flavors of Turkish, a smoothness not usually found in the Middle Eastern imported Turkish giving you the most unbelievable coffee flavor.
