Aquarian Drumheads SX-A Studio-X Tom Pack 10, 12, 14-inch

I just purchased a new set of Aquarian Studio x's for my gigging kit. Probably the 3rd, or 4th set for this one that I've had for about 5 years. I also put Aquarians on my guitar players Pearl Master Sessions at our practice house. I put Aquarians on my bass players crappy kit we use when we practice at his house, and it sounds like a high end kit now! Heads are everything! (I'm lucky, I've got kits available at both houses and mine stays in the cases waiting for the next gig!) My Bass head, using the double bass patch on it, has lasted at least 5 years, with pretty consistent gigging, no issues. So, I'm sold on Aquarians. I'll be price shopping on Amazon again, found a combo that was slightly cheaper than the Big 3 online music retailers...

These heads are very soft & dead sounding. I play my toms & snare without any muffling & prefer Remo Powerstroke 3's over these for tone.

Quality drum heads for a better price than going to a music store.

Arrived damaged. Looks like someone dropped something on them and all three had a dent almost dead center. Some things were not meant to be purchased on line.

Amazing sound. Easy to tune. These things were a nice surprise. I've used the other big two for years and this surpasses them by far.

These are exactly as described. They're a little more controlled than the usual single ply drum head, and that's due to the sound ring attached. Anyone who uses a single ply head, but then finds they're a little too ringy or bright would do well with these heads.
