I started taking vitamin C when Linus Pauling, a two-time Nobel Prize winner, advocated vitamin C as a means of reducing the incidence of colds. I have found that I get few colds compared to other people. However that is not a very large or scientific sample.The Linus Pauling Institute at Oregon State University now takes a more moderate view "Regular supplementation with vitamin C (0.25 to 2 g/day) did not reduce the incidence of colds in the general population (23 trials); however, in participants undergoing heavy physical stress (e.g., marathon runners, skiers, or soldiers in subarctic conditions), vitamin C supplementation halved the incidence of colds (5 trials). A benefit of regular vitamin C supplementation was also seen in the duration of colds, with a greater benefit in children than in adults: The pooled effect of vitamin C supplementation was a 14% reduction in cold duration in children and an 8% reduction in adults."The Mayo Clinic view is consistent "Taking oral vitamin C supplements won't prevent the common cold. However, there's some evidence that when people who regularly take vitamin C supplements get a cold, the illness lasts fewer days and symptoms are less severe. Starting a vitamin C supplement only after you develop a cold is of no help."The "Genex Vitamin C" is a convenient way to get the vitamin. They contain 1000 mg of Vitamin C, more than many capsules. They also contain Rose Hips. The capsules are large but not too large to swallow easily. I intend to continue taking my vitamin C using these.

I'm am an avid believer and user of supplements, but reviewing them is problematic, and my results may not be your results for these reasons:1) I am not a laboratory scientist, I do not play one on tv, nor do I know one, so who knows what’s exactly contained in them.2) It is difficult for consumers to see any actual difference in how you feel within a few days to a couple of weeks. Some supplements take as much as ninety days to see results.3) Even if we do notice a difference, we all take other meds or supplements that may affect our results one way or the other.4) We all have different physiologies, and are just different in so many ways (lifestyles etc). But we can hope for the best when we see others having positive actions going on, that are attributed to said supplements.So my personal non doctor opinion of my own results:These are smaller than the C's that I have been taking which is good, makes them easier to swallow.Better ingredients than what I was using

When they say 1,000mg - that's a 2 capsules serving. (30 days)I normally take a different brand that's 2,000mg in each capsule so that's 4 capsules for me.I'll go through this bottle pretty quickly.Having said that, this is good quality.> Vit C - Ascorbic Acid = natural Vit C found in food.> Rose Hips - the accessory fruit of rose plants(Rose Hips contains 50% more vit C than oranges)Also good to NOT have - artificial colors - flavors - chemical preservatives - Binders - Fillers - Flow Agents> Certified vegan - gluten free - GMO free - Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) -made in a NSF certified facility in U.S.AAll that is saying a mouthful! Only qualification missing is 'organic'Great product. Seems a little pricey.

I think that this is one of the better Vitamin C's out there. First, because it is non gmo. Second, because it seems that there are no fillers of any sort so you know that you are actually getting the full doze of the vitamin. Finally, I do not get any type of acidic reaction when taking this. Vitamin C is super important to introduce into our immune system. I feel very good taking this and experience no side effects. I do not get sick often, and even when I do, i tend to get well very quickly. I attribute this to my daily intake of this supplement.

After getting sick a few months ago, the Drrecommended taking a few vitamins and among them the vitamin C as it's know to be important to build up the immune system.I usually don't like taking pills, but these pills are very easy to swallow. They are small and goes down smoothly while drinking water.This bottle comes with 60 pills. It is gluten free and vegan.It is hard to tell how good it worked as I also took other vitamins while taking the vitamin C, but I did feel better quickly and to prevent getting sick again I still take vitamins.

My doctor suggested taking Vitamin C, D3, and Zinc to fight against Covid and these are quality Vitamin Cs with Rose Hips. Rose Hips contain 50% more Vitamin C than oranges and known to be one of nature's richest sources of natural Vitamin C, so I believe that these will strengthen my immune systems. These capsules are a little bigger than other capsules as you can in the picture but smaller than Omega 3 and easy to swallow. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I like everything about this product - except the price seems a little high. Happy there are no fillers included in the capsules, so that's a big bonus as so many products need the addition of flow and anti-caking agents, and this one seems to have managed without them.Mid sized capsules that are easy to swallow and not weird tastes or flavors to the capsules.

I like this Genex vitamin C supplement. The quality of the ingredients seems good and I always look for GMP certification, which this has. The capsules are reasonably sized, have no odor or aftertaste, and are easy to swallow. My only complaint is that the price is on the high side. With 2 capsules per dose, this 60 capsule bottle is only a month's supply and at nearly $25 current price this is pretty steep. It's good but pricey.
