So reliable
I absolutely love this thermometer! I bought it a few years ago when I had my first child and lost it in the shuffle of moving from house to house. I was finally able to re-order it and I’m so happy that I did. This thermometer has different ways of taking temperature. First is through the rectum, which I do not use. The second way is orally or armpit. Although my children are too young to feel comfortable taking their temperature orally, the armpit option seems to be the best fit for us. I like that there is a color light indicator whether there is a fever present or not. My toddler has taken two making it a game when I check her temperature to see if her body is “good to go green“. It also helps that there is a quick temperature display where it only takes a few seconds and then if she is patient enough to allow for the full test to proceed, it gives a true temperature shortly after. The battery life is very nice. Although I say that after only using it a few times and not needing to charge the battery. My children don’t get sick enough, but it is a handy tool to have when the concern does come around. It’s very easy to clean after use as it is just a simple wipe and back into the carrying case it goes. I would absolutely recommend this thermometer to anybody looking for a convenient option that is easy to use for young children and easy to read for older adults

Easy to Use
Very easy to use and instructions were easy to understand. Easy to clean it with the use of soap and water. I haven't had any issues with it and I definitely think it was worth the money.

Surprisingly Easy & Super Accurate
As a first-time mom, I was a little nervous about using a rectal thermometer, but the Frida Baby one made it so simple and stress-free. The design is really smart — it has a short, flexible tip and a wide base so you can’t insert it too far, which gave me peace of mind. It also gives a super fast and accurate reading (in about 10 seconds!), which is a huge relief when you’re dealing with a fussy or sick baby. It’s easy to clean, feels sturdy, and even has a little case to keep it sanitary. Honestly, rectal temps are the most accurate for infants, and this thermometer makes it way less intimidating. I’m so glad we added this to our baby kit — it’s one of those things you don’t think you’ll need until you really need it.Highly recommend for any parent with a newborn or infant! It’s compact, easy to clean, and feels like it was actually designed by parents who get it. I trust it way more than the old-school thermometers. If you’ve got little ones at home, this is one of those products that’s totally worth it.

Easy to use for your baby!
I wanted to have a thermometer that can be used on different body parts for my baby. I love how this can be used for just that. It’s easy to use for moms! I like how it comes with a storage case as well so it won’t get damaged during traveling.

Dangerously Inaccurate for Newborns- DO NOT BUY
I’m not much of a review writer, but after an unnecessary trip to the ER with my 5 week old son during the middle of the delta surge in covid cases… I really felt the need to write one. This product will give you dangerously Inaccurate rectal temperature readings.Yesterday morning my son was a bit fussy and spitting up a lot more than normal. I noticed he was a bit warm so I decided to take his temp. The reading I got with this thermometer was 100.6… naturally I freaked as a temp this high is very serious for newborns. I undressed him and waited a few minutes just to make sure he wasn’t overheated and took his temp again and this time it read 100.7 so immoderately called his pediatrician and we were sent to the ER.Once we were at the ER they took his temp and it was 99.4! More than a degree difference. But since it had been some time since we took his temp they wanted to run all the necessary tests to make sure there wasn’t an infection and naturally we agreed. They had to take a urine sample with a catheter, a covid swab in is poor little nose, blood samples, start and IV just in case, and a stomach ultrasound. I was a wreck watching my baby be put through all of this. Then we waited for hours for the results… in a hospital in the middle of covid with a 5week old. Everything came back fine. They told us it was likely a viral infection that would have to run it’s corse. Gave us instructions to monitor it and follow up with our pediatrician the next day and checked his temp again before sending us home, it was 99.1.When we got home, I had to change his diaper so I figured I’d check his temp and again with the Frida thermometer it was 100.3. We waited a couple of hours gave him a bottle and at his next change I checked it again with the frida thermometer 100.1 but also with a the basic safety 1st rectal thermometer and got 99.0… it was like that the rest of the night, the Frida thermometer consistently read about 1 whole degree higher…I am livid that this product is still on the shelves. I didn’t read the reviews like many of the other folks who experienced this, I trusted the brand and thought this product would be way better than my cheap thermometers…. Well more expensive doesn’t always mean better and I will be filling a complaint with the company and the bbb. This product is dangerously Inaccurate. It cost us a ton of money in medical bills and has put my 5 week old at risk of being exposed to Covid as well as all the other viruses swirling around the Children’s ER.Please if you buy this product make sure you have a back up, and check it if you get a high reading.
