I purchased this Rawlings Big Stick One Hand Training Bat (25” Model: 251) to incorporate into our hitting progression drills, focusing on helping my son stay on the ball better and refine his mechanics. It’s been a game-changer! We got it last year, and the value for the price is unbeatable—solid construction from pro-grade ash wood that holds up well to repeated use. My son has really improved his swing path, front side stability, and overall bat control using this tool for one-hand drills, soft toss, and tee work. It’s helped him build hand strength without feeling too heavy (around 1.6 lbs), and the unfinished pro look gives it that authentic feel. If you’re coaching youth baseball or softball and want an effective, affordable training aid, this is highly recommended! The picture of the bat is after one year of use.

This mini one handed trainer is great. But it dose come a very slick because its not coated ash I do recommend buy a grip tape but it is very good for the price being durable and having good weight. Some of the other one handed trainers get expensive but overall good mini bat 4 stars.

I really like this bat! I coach little league baseball and like this bat, both for helping the kids with their swing and for me to hit grounders to them on the field. The quality of my bat is very high. It is made of a single piece of wood, with the grain running perfectly straight down the bat. It seems likely to last a very long time and unlikely to break. I do wish Rawlings wouldn’t tape the label to the wood. The adhesive is quite sticky and nearly impossible to get off. But that is asthetics and doesn’t impact the bat’s use.

I know some of the reviews say they have it in their car, or at their bedside, and hey whatever. I got this as an actual one handed training bat for my kid to work on his swing. Weight is good and easy for him to handle with one hand. I’ve done soft toss with him in the cage to work on form and he’s able to make contact and haven’t had any stingers or anything weird. Looks like it’ll last, it’ll be part of my coaching bag for years to come.

Product is fine, but the Rawlings label is incredibly sticky. Will leave a thick residue that needs work to remove.

Item delivered not treated wood. Not as pictured on Amazon. Big stickers on bat stuck.

The sticker didn't remove well and it left a gummy residue. Had to clean the bat with goo off. Not a big deal if you have goo be gone but why not use an easy to remove sticker
