Hard Life

This band's getting a lot of hype in the DIY pop punk scene, and I can understand why. This is pretty different from the usual ramonescore and Descendents influenced bands that the scene is full of and it's rather refreshing. Don't get me wrong, I love bands like Screeching Weasel, House Boat and The Mr. T Experience, but sometimes I want my pop punk to stand out a little more, haha. This certainly does, and it's full of catchy choruses, memorable riffs, and some rather bitter and relatable lyrics. I also love the girl's voice - it's fantastic. If you enjoy this band, check out her previous group Cheeky. They're awesome too. Oh, and one more thing - buy this album. It's worth the money and they need all the support they can get!
