Pleasantly Surprised
Wow, I love this thing! I had agonized since July about what foot spa to purchase. My husband wanted to get me one for our anniversary since he knew I missed the occasional mani-pedis due to Covid-staying-at-home and asked me to pick out the one I wanted. I immediately went searching on Amazon and got overwhelmed by choices. I wanted one that would be able to keep the water warm, with some massaging action and with bubbles. Did I need one with exact temperature control? It sure sounded good. Massaging devices along the entire bottom of the tub? Why not? Bubble holes all the way? Yes please! Again, overwhelmed by choices and I couldn't decide from the many options. I would do the occasional searches throughout the weeks and finally, I decided that Black Friday (or sometime that week) would be the time where I finally decide on one. I am glad I waited! I hadn't seen the Homedics Shiatsu Bliss before and although I was a little hesitant about the non-precise temperature control and concerned about the water not getting super warm, after using it, my feet are so happy. I started by using the Shiatsu massaging action with heat. It worked nicely on my toes and heels but I had to press down a decent amount to get my high arches (not really an issue); it felt slightly warm. I put in a mixture of cold water and warm water so the starting temperature was tepid. I started the bubbles (which were louder than I was expecting) and turned on the Shiatsu massaging again and turned the heat on once more. Wow. The water got warm fast. Delightfully warm. I was impressed. I was worried that it would just keep it the same temperature. No, it legitimately heated up the water and kept it nice and toasty to the point that I had closed my eyes and was ready to fall asleep as my feet were blissfully treated to a nice rubbing sensation in a wet, bubbly wonderland. The only thing that stopped me was when the spa turned itself off after 30 minutes, which is a good safety feature. Overall, I am really happy that I waited to purchase a foot spa and that I found this one. The controls are easy to use and very intuitive. Single press buttons that light up when the feature is active. The foot spa is bigger than I was expecting too, it is much roomier than an older one I had when I was in high school. The Shiatsu massagers are placed in the middle so you can move your foot up and down them and have room (I am a size 9 in women shoes), although to get the back edge of my heels I did have to put my toes on the front wall of the spa. Also, the box says it is a 2 year limited warranty. I would recommend this if people are able to splurge on it!

AMAZING
I need the price to come back to where it was at 60-70$ but this Footspa is AMAZING. I love that it REALLY gives bubbles.. The Massagers really work the heating element really work. It is NOT collapsable so I have no worries of having a mess. I am a licensed nail tech running a small salon this is PERFECT. Its cute and oval shaped unlike the bucket box types that are sold now a days. Big enough for any size foot. The massagers are detachable for easy cleaning and I can run it with disinfectant between clients. My clients say it feels better than any pedicure they have ever had. Reply to the comment below mine. 1. sometimes the bubble holes can get clogged w/dirt a good cleaning will fix that i had sugar scrub in one of mine took a needle and scrub brush to it and it was like new. 2. I am a woman with size 11 ft dont judge I am tall but my feet comfortably with room . Also a male client size 10 shoe (mens) fits comfortably. Its the pricing issue of this thing for me other than the bowl is wonderful

Exact opposite of what was described, total garbage
Mine arrived with bubbles only working on one side, but that's not the only reason I am returning it. "Vibrating bubbles" - nope.. more like a few fish bubbles, nothing like a regular foot spa - these are a few tiny bubbles that don't look like anything, don't move water around, and if I didn't know I turned them on, I wouldn't have even known they were there. That picture showing the water all bubbly, that's doctored I guess, not a real image. "Deep kneading pedicure" - no clue what they mean by "pedicure", but I can say that the swirly round things at the bottom are NOT deep kneading. They don't knead at all. Soothing Heat - I didn't feel any heat really. I don't know what they're talking about. "Toe-Touch Controls" - nope... You CANNOT get the controls wet.. so obviously, that's a description error or something. Instructions say to only use "dry hands" and not to get the controls wet at all - which btw, is impossible with a foot spa. As for this imaginary fill line they say you can't go above, I didn't see any line in there, but even filling it halfway was a joke - WATER DOES NOT COVER YOUR FEET no matter what you try. This is for miniature fairies I think. Not adult humans with size 9 shoes.

I LOVE IT!
I love this foot bath! It’s attractive which was a BIG factor for me, I didn’t want a junky foot tub sitting around. The bubbles are good the massage is good the water did get hot but was never too hot for me. You can’t control the heat which I wish you could but not really an issue. My foot is on the smaller side 6.5-7 womens & I had PLENTY of room -see my video- learner feet should fit fine. I wanted this to give my self pedicures but so far have just enjoyed how relaxed I feel after soak feet for 15 min. It is heavy with water but I imagine any tub like this would be so not a big issue for me.

Relaxing
This is a really nice foot bath. I do wish the bubbles were stronger. It heats the water quickly and the massage disks are great.

Thought it would but a bit better and beware buying “like new”
I purchased this “like new” from Amazon’s warehouse. When it arrived it had clearly been used and returned. Since I really didn’t want to hassle with lugging this package around and dealing with a return I cleaned it up and gave it a shot. The spinning “massage” disc on the right foot did not work at all. So just from this part I was pretty disappointed. Judging from the massage disc on the left foot it didn’t really do all that much so said screw it’s and just kept it. The Pro’s are it looks decent, can get and keep water pretty hot (especially if you start with hot water) and it’s pretty large inside (I have size 12 feet and there was more than enough room to move feet around). The Con’s are it’s a fairly large bit of kit that while not too much issue for me to deal with, might be for you or someone not able to lift/carry much especially with water in it. If you’re filling in a sink or tub and then carrying it somewhere to use be sure you’re able to deal with that weight (not to mention the shifting water while doing so). The bubble function isn’t the best so if that’s a feature you’re really wanting be sure to do your research. For mine the bubbles were pretty weak at first and then maybe 10 minutes later got a little stronger, but still it’s nothing to write home about. My guess is you can’t use things like Epsom salts and stuff with the bubbles as it seems like those kinds of solids might cause plumbing issues over time. Anyway, for me me the best parts of this are larger size for feet, adequate heat and looks decent. For folks who don’t have room to store this, since it’s pretty good size and doesn’t fold or break down at all, or have issues dealing with bulky/weighty items be careful with this one. My biggest disappointment is that Amazon listed it “like new” and it clearly wasn’t and also had one of the massagers not functioning so be careful if you’re trying to save some money. I’ve purchased many “like new” or new returns from Amazon over the years and this was the worst experience with doing so.

Finally found it!
After hours of reviewing product comments and reviews and purchasing and returning two foot spas (thank you Amazon for allowing me to try out and return those foot spas that didn’t work out) I have found the perfect HOMEDICS gentle shiatsu heated bubbling foot spa in the Amazon Warehouse! I have been experiencing severe foot pain following my morning mile plus walks. Have tried various walking shoes and arthritis creams and thought a massaging foot spa might help. The product with the “corn” shaped massagers was very uncomfortable. I had to return that one. The spa without the massaging rollers didn’t really do much. Lo and behold I found this great Homedics foot spa with smooth rotating massagers. It had a few mixed reviews but I took a chance. This is fantastic! The unit heats quickly. I actually turned off the heat for a while when it felt a little warm. It has nice gentle bubbles but the best feature are the smooth rotating discs. I am a size 8-1/2 and my foot fits perfectly. I am able to move my foot around easily to massage the front, middle and heel. It is heaven. And contrary to some comments, I had no problem with splashing. And like I said I got a fabulous deal from Amazon’s Warehouse and additionally because it was Prime Day I received an extra discount! Thank you so much Amazon. You have been a real lifesaver during the pandemic and continue to provide fantastic products and service! And my feet feel fantastic!

Broken on arrival
I really wanted this to work, as this was my replacement option for another $100+ foot spa that had the most painful massagers ever. Unfortunately, I have to heavily discount star rating due to the fact that the bubbler function simply did not work at all. I ordered a replacement, so hopefully the new one will work a bit better and I can upgrade by a star or two... See below for a quick pron/ con list: Pro: Fits my large feet well (US Men size 12), with room to spare. Pro: Massagers are whisper-quiet and in the perfect spot for my feet (right under the arches) You can't imagine how many massagers are placed terribly for larger feet. They are also VERY quiet when turned on. Pro: the edges where your ankles / calves rest against are angled outwards and free of any sharp edges. A no-brainer, but surpringly something missed by alot of foot spas. (A $150 one I returned had sharp edges on every single surface) Pro: comfortable surface. The rippled smooth bottom is very comfortable! So many foot spas have a bottom that is 90% massager rollers jutting up like painful lil icebergs, leaving no flat space for your feet to rest. (A floor covered in rollers / beads is painful after a few minutes) This however has a fantastic balance between the two. Pro: Heater element works well (could not test with bubbler to see if bubbler cooled water faster than heater could keep up - will test if replacement works) Con: Cannot use the heater without also using massager or bubbler. (Its in the instructions, so is an unfortunate basic function) This is a wierd design choice. Con: The unit arrived with a damaged bubbler. There are three ports, and only one BARELY bubbles. The motor that runs it is also 300 times louder than the massager, grinding and whining as it wheezes out a bubble or two. I checked, and the holes / ports are not blocked, the motor must simply be damaged and not putting out enough force to push bubbles to the further ports. A shame, as otherwise this unit would get a much higher review rating. Eill update this section if replacement fixes it. **This is apparently a common issue in reviews for this, so buyer be warned** Con: I wish it where taller. Once I get a device with a functional bubbler, I wonder if it'll splash water out. Con: This is personal preference, but I wish this had multi-heat settings. This has one setting, which eventually roasts your ankles. (Can easily turn off and on as needed, so still not a big deal) All in all, a decent foot spa with some unusual design choices and what seems like some quality assurance issues. If you don't mind potentially recieving one with a damaged bubbler, than you may enjoy this one. Good luck!
