Cliff Richard: In The Beginning [DVD]

Absolutely brilliant and a well deserved five star rating!!Cliff Richard has got to be one of the best live performers ever,better still Mr showbusiness himself. I have never seen a bad Cliff Richard DVD or a bad live performance of his.This particular DVD from the Wembly Arena I found to be outstanding in every respect including his band backing singers and his own presentation of the show.Well worth a purchase for any Cliff Richard fan.

Not being able to watch Cliff in concert for many years I was not disappointed in this superb Here and Now concert DVD. It is simply the best - Cliff, as always, delivers and entertains to all his fans. I enjoyed watching this DVD very much and my friend who lives in Hull did too (I ordered 2 copies from Amazon). She was lucky enough to watch Cliff in Sheffield and had a great time! (I am not surprised!) Cliff is excellent and deserves all the praise and love his fans shower upon him! We all love Cliff! A geat DVD for all Cliff fans!!!!

I ordered Cliff Richard - In The Beginning with great expectations. Unfortunately I found it to be a confusingly directed cook-up full of mistakes. As the story of Cliff & The Shadows is already very well known and there is no lack of facts or film material etc. one could expect something better by 2006. I am left with the feeling that the makers did not have very much knowledge on the subject and did not care. If you want to throw in details like here there should be more time.It is sad that the interviews of those who had really something to tell (formed president of fan club, the sound engineer)got kinda wasted here. The only reason for giving two stars is the effort of those those people and the TV appearances like Move It From 1960 thatI had not seen before - unfortunately there was not so much to see because the very short clips made the result even more irritating.So maybe one day we will see a good documentary on subject not to bee overlooked.I don't like to knock down artistic efforts but I do not see any reason to keep this one in my collection.Klaus BlomqvistHelsinki,Finland

Good artist and good music! Can not be better!

I bought a set of DVDs which included this DVD (I hadn't noticed before!) so will get double the time watching and thoroughly enjoying. Brings back wonderful memories. Cliff was great when young but I find with maturity he has improved (if that was possible) and I am engrossed when watching. Wonderful. Cliff is the consummate artist with so much energy. A real gentleman and great performer.
