Well built bottom board
Well built well coated. Simple to install.

These are made in China.
I ordered 3 of these. They look great and seem to be well made. However, the makers quality control is poor. One had a staple in which one sharp end was sticking up in the air. I bent it back and tacked it back into the board. Another one, was not level on top, so the super on top has a small gap on one side. On the third one, the slide in board was not solid white. It had scratches on it and different color stains on it.I do love the full bottom screen.Just know that the front opening is 3/4”.Despite the negativity, I would consider buying this product again!

Great for mite control
Of course there is no mite prevention (unfortunately) but we can help minimize the damage, and aid in cooling our hives. Hence this product. Allows mites to fall through, and lets cooler air blow up into the hive. I've been tickled with this product, and happy to have it.

The quality matters most.
The quality of this bottom board is outstanding. It’s not rocket science to recognize craftsmanship when you see it. This product will be used for summer ventilation later in the year.
